"Very friendly, customer oriented service. My daughter wanted rice noodles which they did not have. Not a problem, we picked a package from a shop across the street and they prepared it. And it was their suggestion. Food was excellent too."

"Chef- lay off the pepper.... otherwise outstanding. Quiet place, wasn't very busy at dinner time but tried it anyway, since it is one of the few places near the Crowne Plaza where one can get a steak. Ribeye was rare as I ordered it, beautiful...texture, beautiful piece of meat, very tender. Chef over seasoned it with ground peppercorns, most of which I was able to scrape off. Why hide the flavor of the meat? If I wanted flavor I would dip it in the pepper sauce provided with the meal. If you serve such nice steak you don't need to hide it behind the seasoning, let the meat speak for itself! Came with half a jacket/baked potato which I was happy to find, but it was only half, with no butter or sour cream. By contrast the potato had no flavor. The price was right, 29E for the steak and another 5E for a nice draft beer. If you are staying at the Crown Plaza, it is only 2 blocks from the hotel as you walk to the left. I highly recommend Runes. To find anything to eat besides at the hotel or the Scandic building next door you have to walk about a mile if you go to the right. To the left was Subway, then Rune's. 1/2 block to the right as you leave Rune's is a small mini mart, which seems to be the only one close to the hotel. Staff was friendly, yes, a little slow, but that is very typical for Europe. Order a beer right as you sit down and you'll be fine."
