"We had such an amazing experience here tonight! The owner, Kevin, is maybe the most hospitable person I've ever met and his passion for the food he serves is incredible. Not only was the food next level amazing, but the whole place was so clean! We ordered the meat sampler, brisket sandwich and smokehouse fries and also had a tasting of the Mac n cheese, cornbread pudding and the homemade BBQ chips. All I can say is wow. We couldn't stop eating because the food was so good. My son said it was the best food he's ever had and he is not easy to please. We had such a great experience and can't wait to go back. Thank you Kevin and staff for a wonderful night!"

"Simply one if the best doughnuts you can eat. I've been going here for over 30 years. For all intensive purposes, IMHO, they have perfected the doughnut. Worth the stop to get an amazing doughnut or just a dessert. Great atmosphere, great service. Just go and you won't be dissapointed."

"Rude Manager! Bad food! If I could start less than 0, I would definitely. I visited Port Perry and decided to go back to Anchor point because I remember that the food is great. I ordered medium-cooked steak with salad and broccoli-chodar soup. When I got my food, the salad looked at me wrong. I took a bite I immediately knew it wasn't fresh, so I sent it back. I started eating steak, but it was nowhere near being medium. It tastes like the meat was cooked earlier and placed on the grill. I didn't know something was wrong with a steak from the first bite, I thought they just overhauled it, which was okay, and I could still eat it, but then I looked at it, I realized it wasn't freshly cooked. So I left half the steak and touched almost broccoli soup because I had no more confidence in this food. I told all this to the server and she tried to talk to the manager who decided to give me 2$ discount for my order. I didn't think it was fair, so I asked a manager to explain everything. The manager who worked on October 2 was the rude person! The person with this type of attitude must not work in customer service. She hasn't even listened to me and she's always interrupted. Didn't even apologize. Your answer to my question was to eat? We all try to survive here. This is not the answer from Restaurant Manager. In the end, she just turned around when I talked to her and went away from the conversation. There were many ways to deal with this situation, but she was not interested in solving it at all. Terrible experience that ruined my dinner."
