"We had great service (thanks Diane), great fish and chips, grilled trigger fish and shrimp. The award winning clam chowder was exactly that. I don't usually like clam chowder, but this was amazing. I couldn't stop eating my husband's cup!! Food was made fast and served with a smile Ask about the Datil sauce, it's slightly sweet with some spicy zip. It's good on just about everything if you like spice."

"You might miss Pizzalley's amongst all the touristy spots in downtown St. Augustine if you're not looking hard enough, but you definitely don't want to miss this back alley Italian Restaurant! My wife and I tried the Chianti room and we were not disappointed. We were seated straight away and the waitress was polite and prompt. My wife ordered the Chianti and I had a Key Lime Pie Martini, both of which were great. We started with the bruschetta which was delicious, but my wife and I were torn on whether or not the fresh mozzarella brought anything to dish (I enjoyed it, she could have done without it) but the bread was light and crispy and the tomatoes were juicy. With the entrees came our soup, salad, and bread sticks which came out well before the meal. The bread sticks were good with the light sprinkle of cheese on the top. The salad was good as was the Soup de Jour which was an Italian Wedding soup. Before the entrees we also ordered a margarita pizza. If you are used to a traditional margarita pizza (with San Marzano tomato sauce), you may not like this one, but we enjoyed it! It doesn't come with the sauce (as indicated on the menu and by the waitress before we ordered it) but the tomato was fresh and juicy, there was so much cheese, and the crust was perfectly crispy. Delicious! Then the entrees came out. My wife had the Catch of the Day Special which was fried grouper. The portion size was massive! Great flavor and beautifully crusted! I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with spinach and absolutely loved it. I had nothing to complain. The sauce was flavorful and stuck to the noodles without being too gloopy or clumpy and the spinach added a nice flavor too. We were too stuffed for dessert, but if they're anything like the meal we had, we'll be back to try them soon!"

"Food is always fresh when we go well maintained. Your sushi area always looks amazing and always tastes fresh. I love them doing it right in front of you. The hostesses are always nice to put you right away. For the most part, the servers are also good. Some are more on their game then others, but this is in every place, not biggie."

"Cousteaus wafer and milkshake bar is one of my favorite spots in the historic downtown of St. Augustine. I've been to this place for years. We have Stevesie Milkshake, who was the best Keksteig milkshake I've ever had. We had the Unpaid Intern wafer and it was really good. Their waffles are always so fresh and have a good density and naturally wonderful taste. Oh and her whipped cream on everything is definitely made in the house, which simply brings all her desserts to another level."

"First off, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and sweet. Glasses, tattoos, I believe her name was Alyx? Excellent waitress. The food was a mixed bag, but mostly pretty good. I got the hash bowl with eggs. The toast was unbuttered. Who eats unbuttered toast? But otherwise, it was quite good. The fresh avocado was nice too. My wife got the French toast with scrambled eggs. It was also good. The coffee was horrible. This is a pet peeve of mine. Restaurants try to save a nickel by making extremely weak, tasteless coffee. C?mon people, coffee isn?t expensive, throw in a few more scoops. I have to order decaf coffee due to a caffeine sensitivity, so weak decaf coffee is even worse. To get flavor out of decaf, you have to make it strong. My cup of decaf was like hot water with a slight brown tint. Terrible. Taking one star from the review for the dishwater coffee. Fix the coffee issue and butter the toast and this place would be the bomb. Pics are after we?d started eating, so it?s not an example of the plating, but it is a good look at the portion."

"Had dinner with friends last night. 3 meals, steak were great. Mine was overlooked. When our waiter checked 2 see if we were happy with meal I mentioned that the steak was overlooked. He immediately returned my meal and replaced it with a perfectly cooked steak. The manager spoke with us made sure everything went well for the rest of our evening. Great service...we'll be back!"
