"Due to the efforts of our B B hostess, we were able to tag on to a group of Canadian high school students that this sugar shack was only opened for. This was a neat experience not just a meal. As mentioned by other reviewers, there was a brief show tell in both English and French on how maple syrup is made. From there we went inside and began the multiple courses of food. They were quite tasty. Meanwhile, their resident musician sang and played traditional songs on multiple instruments a very talented gentleman. Towards the end of the meal, he coaxed the students onto their feet to learn some traditional dances. It was all very entertaining. Meanwhile, the waitstaff efficiently took care of the large group of students and us, too. We finished up the evening by going back outside where they prepared everyone maple taffy on ice. They also have a small gift shop inside where they sell lots of maple based items and other souvenirs. Nicely done."
