"Gloomy, rainy, dark days always have me craving for one thing: a nice, hot, savory bowl of Ramen. Yesterday was one of those days. It has been raining non-stop since last week, and apparently, the release date of Pokemon Go had the worst timing. In...our area there are no Pokestops, so I have to depend on walking, which I can't do because of the rain. Anyways, going back to our main topic, I complained noisily to my trainer about wanting to eat Ramen. A lightbulb probably appeared on top of his head as he told me that he recently ate at a really good Ramen House in San Juan. That restaurant is Oyasumi Ramen. So, after training, I informed my grandparents about this restaurant and I found out that I wasn't the only one who was craving for Ramen. So we decided on going later that day. Fastforward, we arrived at Oyasumi Ramen, the place seemed welcoming but there was one problem. Lack of parking space, my grandfather had to park somewhere else as we waited inside the restaurant. When you first enter, they have the typical ramen bar area where you can see the chefs preparing the food. We had to stay there for awhile since all the tables had been occupied so we ordered in advance. Me and my grandfather went for the Iekei ramen which consisted of perfectly-cooked noodles with chashu slices in their signature tonkotsu-shoyu tare broth with spinach, leeks and sheets of nori. We had the chashu changed to thick-cut since it was just an added pesos. The original price was since we added it became pesos. I also ordered the Gyoza, because, just because. It didn't take long before we were seated, the tables were in their second floor and if I recall, there were only tables. Their serving time was quite fast and the warm bowls of ramen were set in front of us. Everyone else dug in but I took minutes to take pictures. Iekei Ramen and Gyoza I took a sip from the soup and the flavors were very rich, it satisfied my very soul with each sip. I then tasted the noodles, at first, they seemed bland, but after mixing it around in the bowl with the soup it started to taste better. What really amazed me was the Gyoza. It was divine, the best of all the others I had. It was tender and the taste was something I would never get bored of. I ate four and shared one with my grandmother. Luckily, it was cheat day so no regrets. I tried eating as slow as possible to enjoy the taste, but somehow, I finished before everyone else. I wasn't even able to try the Cheesy Risotto because I was so full. That's pretty much it, I'll try a different kind of ramen the next time I go back. "Been here thrice already. The place was used to shield with their curtains and diners would not be seen from the outside. But now, windows are now clear and can be seen from tiangge stores outside. The feel of the store has changed since the last time I went here. The quality of meat is not that special than what they had before. Still the rolls, veg soup, side salad and ice cream or coffee for dessert is still free and included in any housesteak orders. Service is a bit slow even on non-heavy dining time as early as 4pm."

"Kenny Rogers is our family's favorite. The roasted chicken never fails to satisfy us. The corn and carrots and mashed potato has always been my 10-year-old daughter's favorite. This outlet at Greenhills Shopping Center is very clean and the crew are very nice."

"A very interesting mix. If it tastes good, it's great. If it doesn't, it will disappoint to the max. <br>

They know how Japanese restaurants seem to "specialize". Something. In sushi, others in iron or teppan, others in ramen, etc.? Well, that's a combination of all three. <br>

A quick look at the menu shows that they are more on the teppan than the others. More choice of teppan. <br>

For this trip we ordered ramen for the kid which was excellent. The soup broth tasted like it was actually made from boiled bone, and the butter helped a lot. <br>

We tried the foie gras makimono sushi and unfortunately I tried strawberry - and nothing else. I'm sure the foie gras is there somewhere. <br>

If I try the scallops I can tell they were well cooked but each scallop was too small. Scallops like these are meant to be eaten in bulk, not individually in the shell. <br>

The okonomiyaki tasted good but had more batter than ingredients. I prefer my okonoiyaki with more vegetable crunch than dough like pancakes. <br>

I would have given a higher score, because no matter what I liked the food - except for the disaster of a pork katsudon. The rice was good, but the pork itself was obviously heated hastily from the freezer and felt more rubbery than the skin of a Godzilla stuntman suit. Seriously, my masseter muscle had quite a bit of training! <br>

The saving grace was the seared, spicy tuna. I love it but can't bring myself to muster the energy to describe it further. Chewing the pork chop drained me."

"Charlie's Grind and Grill have 2 branches. The original one is in Kapitolyo Pasig, which is just beside a car wash and the newer one, in Greenhills. Even if both branches are quite near to where I live, I still prefer to go to the latter branch because it's cleaner and I never have to worry about parking space.I have been frequenting this restaurant for years, not for their burgers (I found them so-so).. but for their cheesesteak (Batangas AAA Sirloin - Grassfed) and fries. When the craving for beef or cheesesteak hits me, this is the first place on my mind. Their cheesesteak has become one of my comfort foods. I love that their bread is so soft and that they put butter in it.. We sometimes sub their cheese sauce with provolone, eitherway they're both okay. I love their fries and how they have many variations of it. We've had garlic and parmesan fries, house fries, sweet potato fries, chili and cheese fries, and dirty fries. The portions are very generous, great for sharing, and reasonably priced. We used to order other things like their buffalo wings, wagyu burger, shrooms vegetarian burger, snapdawgs, and pulled pork sandwich. But we always find them just satisfactory. This is a self-service type of restaurant, so you get your own drinks and condiments. The staff in Greenhills branch are courteous, helpful and very efficient. The place is clean with many tables and chairs."

"They have a good take on the sansrival and they also serve the great carrot brot available to take. this is one of the places where they can get tee for one because and either a pasta set or a rice flour and they are all ready to relieve their hunger. it's a small place, but it's years here, so it means that it thrives. they also sell some biscuits and snacks for them to homes such as their haferflakes and chocolate chip cookies, lengua de gato, meringue kisses for the sweet tooth and our melba toast when they are lying any dives to the house."

"Best movie snacks is my description of Slammin' Mini Burgers. I have had this a couple of times already which just makes the movie viewing experience all the more enjoyable. The burgers are freshly grilled at all times and they are nice and juicy indeed. I often go for the triple mini burgers either the All American Burger or the Bacon and Mushroom Burgers. And their fries are really good as well especially when coupled with their different dips. Order them well done to get that nice crunchy texture."

"I won't deny it but somehow I became a big fan of this food joint. I just can't get enough of their bacon and cheeseburger sliders. The belgian fries with cheese dip are to be craved as well. Pretty heavy meal so take it easy on the orders."
