"The food was wonderful (as always) but the service is what really sets this restaurant apart. We had a wonderful experience with Rendle and Homer. They were incredibly attentive and friendly. Michael even came over to chat with us, which is what we love about small, family owned businesses. We decided to try the Taste of Cuba (Epicurean) menu which was magnificent. I had the shrimp tostones, vaca frita (steak), and the chocolate tarte. My husband had the Cuban ribs, mojo chicken, and guava dessert. All of the food was tasty and well cooked. The epicurean menu serves full portions so by the time we got to dessert, we were nearly full but were able to take the dessert home. I only got a picture of the dessert we were so ready to dig into the appetizer and entree Thanks for a wonderful time and we’re already planning on next visit"

"Excellent service and food! I've never been to Ruth Chris before, but I was in a series of what I think is high-end steakhouses. The service and steaks, salads, pages and the overall experience were fabulous. Angie was our server. Once she realized that it was out there, she gave a little background to her steak quality as she prepared and served and history of the company. Each cut of USDA Prime beef served arrives boiled to perfection and sizzling on a 500° plate? Like Ruth liked it. She was attentive and friendly and very helpful to help us with the choice. The steaks were perfectly prepared, tasteful and well presented. The sides mac and cheese, garlic mashed and creamy spinach were abundant and delicious. This is a high-end steakhouse and the prices reflect this, but also served serving the serving and the product. I'm back."

"My husband and I came here for our 6 year anniversary tonight and it was fabulous! We had the wild mushroom bisque which was divine and worth coming back for alone. The black pearl oyster mushrooms were complex and incredible! We also had the backed sun shrimp and they were delicious and the Mahi had Indian flavors that I adore and fish was just perfection in the sauce with the little carrots. Oh My.. then there was one of my favorite endings to any meal I've ever had. The pecan brown butter tart with the raisins.. One of my favorite meals I've had in Sarasota! Also I rarely drink and am not a huge beer fan honestly but I decided to try the sea quench dogfish beer and it was delicious! Easily could have drank 2. Again it was delicious and we look forward to coming back."

"Always great. The food is delicious and hot. The service is always with a smile. My family and I eat here at least once a week. It's the only real diner in the area. No matter what you order you will be pleased. My only suggestion is to expand to make more room for seating. If you do have to wait for a seat, the food is at least worth it!"
