"I really love the acai bowls here! I tried their Green Machine and Livin Figgy bowl today and both were amazing!!! I tried the snickers bowl just 2 days ago and that was pretty great too!"

"This was our second visit here. The concept of mixed Eastern European food is good and our meals ( beef cheek, dumplings, lamb pilaf) were flavoursome. The service was very ho- hum. The place was almost empty but the cocktail took so long to arrive it came just before the meal. The staff could not answer questions about the wine and overall it felt somewhat overpriced."

"To get a decent steak shouldn't be difficult but for some reason it is .. after searching Brisbane for months in the hunt for a bloody good steak we came across this bistro pub . We had two for one vouchers from the entertainment book that's why we looked it up for a visit . We arrived just on kitchen closing time however this was no problem for the chefs in the kitchen and shatter me with shaving cream (no it's not a fetish of mine ) did the best fillet Mignon arrive with an excellent side salad and chips so good I thought I was in a French restaurant in Switzerland but no we were st the Plough inn hotel in Southbank , so good were our meals we couldn't believe our luck it was so delicious I had to pinch myself . All staff were engaging and helpful to top of a perfect meal and setting . I just can't wait to get back there for round two , my faith restored and hats of to the kitchen"

"Absolutely stunning food, service and ambiance. Ultra modern Australian food plated like art work with a focus on native Australian ingredients. Chef Josue Lopez is a genius and is recognized as one of the best chefs in Brisbane. We started with the eucalypt fire. I've never had emu before and I thought GOMA was the perfect place to try it. The emu was served 3 ways and the tartare component was a hit. We also got the moreton bay bug and this was one of my favourite dishes of the night. The bug was cooked to perfection and all the elements elevated the dish to new heights. I got the duck for main and it was so unique. Served with various mushroom components and the acidity of the quandong balanced everything. Now onto dessert...The wattleseed custard was served in the G20 summit and received rave reviews and I'm so happy it has been kept on the menu for over 2 years. It was an edible work of art and the inherent coffee/caramel flavours from the wattleseed worked...

"We came here with our family. Great service and so kind and accommodating. The flavours were really nice and we enjoyed our meal. They can accommodate to gluten-free foods. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was fantastic. Unfortunately the gluten-free menu was a little bit small. However we still managed to order all our meals from that menu. We did find that it was a little bit expensive."

"It is a great location and outlook and while I am a fan of quick service, I was surprised when four meals were delivered to the table within five minutes of ordering including tempura and crumbed fish, octopus and bugs, suggesting that the food had been pre-cooked and simply re-heated or finished off. I get this technique is used in restaurants to ensure quick service but the bugs in particular were overcooked and starting to disintegrate. Seafood takes so little time to cook anyway, not sure why it wouldn't just be cooked to order and ensure fresh and appetising meals."
