"There were four of us friends who were to eat before the show. each asspect of the service was abysmal and every dish) except the wind wiper that one had vegetarian and was apparently edible) was under par. the filled mushrooms that we had as entree were raw....An application to pull out the wind to an adjacent empty table was denied, although it and other nearby tables were not occupied there. we have lost the number of memories and ordered the wine and the same with some of the meal times. other tables seemed to have a certain attention, but we seemed deliberately ignored. we gave to the extra court weeping that we tried to order, cancel and never leave to return again!"

"Very clean and modern place in a great location but you feel like you eat in an authentic Indian restaurant. Food is amazing, service very quick and all staff members extremely attentive. Highly recommended!"

"Abusive and bullying behaviour by owner to staff. Where do I even begin with this place? After eating out at some of the best restaurants all around the world, I have never found the need to write a review about a restaurant, until now. What...we witnessed was awful to say the least. Tonight was our last night in the city, we were really hungry and decided to go looking for food when we came across Manjits at the Wharf in Darling Harbour. Upon entry we were ignored by an old man with a turban (who I will be referring to as the supervisor) we he looked at us and turned his back on us and kept on fiddling with papers, we stood there for 10 minutes, until a lady appeared and asked us if we wanted to dine in, we said yes, which is when the supervisor turned around and was like sorry I thought you were with them (a lady who was running around looking for a bathroom), we then proceeded to our table. Our meal service was nothing great, the restaurant was really busy so some things were a bit delayed, food was dry and salty and there was some confusion about tables and orders, nothing which we would ordinarily need to express. However, our issue is not with the service but with the preceding events. Seated next to us were a family of 4 (3 ladies and 1 man). I could see them pull their faces throughout their meal but didn’t think much of it until we we finished our meal and went to pay for our meal. When i proceeded to pay for the meal we saw a whole heap of commotion by that family of 4, yelling at the supervisor about their table not being cleared on time. The supervisor asked who didn’t clear their tables properly and they said many people including an Indian lady. The supervisor then proceeded to yell at a waitress at the restaurant and tell her to come over to him and the family of 4, she did while holding 3 glasses in her hands quivering (which indicates to me that the preceding behaviour which unfolded had occurred before). The supervisor asked whether the lady had served the family of 4 and she said no, that is when both the family of 4 and the supervisor all began to abuse this poor waitress, the supervisor started yelling at her and told her, “because of you my friends have suffered you know that?”, the waitress then asked “what happened?” The family of 4 yelled at her and took the glasses out of her hand and waved it around in her face, pointed at her and held her while they said that she didn’t clear the tables properly while the supervisor also continued to yell at her at the top of his voice. The waitress apologised and said it was busy to which the supervisor responded “just shut up and get out of here”. Disgusted is an understatement, I felt sick to my stomach and could only imagine the hurt and humiliation this waitress was feeling because of the supervisors bullying. I looked at my husband who was just as confused (as he only heard bits of the conversation as we was waiting for our doggy bag in another part of the restarting), we looked at the waitress who went and started cleaning tables again. We left the restaurant because we were in shock and disbelief and honestly couldn’t comprehend the abuse we had witnessed however, as we were walking back to our hotel, I told my husband everything I heard, he phoned the restaurant straight away to lay a formal complaint against the supervisor. When my husband informed him that there was a better way to manage the situation without abusing his staff and yelling in front of other patrons he proceeded to tell my husband to jump into a lake, I then took the phone where the supervisor made threats against me that he would ruin my career and asked who the hell I was to interfere when he spoke to his staff. We both asked to speak to the waitress and he refused. Please stay away from this restaurant and do not encourage this sort of mistreatment, bullying, harassment and repulsive behaviour. If you know who the waitress is please ask her to reach out to us, we would like to help her."

"Across the road from the wonderful Nithik’s Kitchen (which I also review this week), Rozelle’s renaissance continues under a gleaming chromed Art Deco style sign. Bellingen Gelato is co owned by Robert Sebes and his son Danny. Robert established the infamous Badde Manors Cafe in Glebe back in 1982 and began making gelato there in the late 1980s. In 2004 he sold the business, before opening up a gelato store in Bellingen, northern NSW. The catalyst for opening their first Sydney store was picking up the Grand Champion prize for their sorbet of stewed plum, cinnamon and cloves at the Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show . Danny tells me that all “ gelato is made on the premises using recipes developed by Robert over the past 25 years with the focus on strong flavours, high quality natural ingredients and keeping sugar to a minimum. ” After trying Watermelon Mint “ 85% watermelon and a bunch of mint ”; Burnt Caramel (which would also make a fabulous milkshake); and Macadamia"

"This restaurant is located on the top for of Bondi Junction with the Best view and plus, u get to enjoy a delicious meal too. One of the nicest steakhouses and what’s nice is you can make up your own dish if u don’t want exactly what’s printed on the menu. The best part of the meal is the brioche bread that they give u to start if you like a good steak or even some boerewors then this place is calling u"
