"What can you say, it's Ami's, the best bagels in Connecticut. A full assortment of fresh bagels and store made cream cheeses. I stopped in this morning and had a spinach bagel with sausage, egg and cheese and it was delicious! Paired with an Omar coffee and it was a perfect breakfast meal. My only suggestion would be that the young ladies behind the counter would be a little more warm and friendly, otherwise a long time favorite of mine."

"FOOOD SO DAMN GOOD I LITERALLY CAN'T IMAGINE LIFE PRIOR. I ordered from Brenda's for the third time now and they've never missed. The cubano a pulled pork sandwich with ham pickles and Cheese topped with mustard. THE PORK IS SO TENDER AND FLAVORFUL it literally melts in your mouth like butter. The EMPANADAS?!?! Crisp to the bite and then soft and warm with whichever meat filling selectedd I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest the pork and cheese or the Beef empanadas). Best part of this place for me, coming from NYC to CT was super hard to find certain authentic drinks n' food but I was able to wash everything down with a chilled Malta. I. Phenomenal."

"Went there for the first time this weekend and OMG-amazing. I was craving natas for months now, and I usually get them from Chaves in BPT but honey chillleeee when I came here and she offered Nutella natas, I was like okay. They were so freaking good!! The best hands down! I also got sweet bread, Portuguese rolls, chocolate chip cannolis and individual strawberry cheesecakes.. so amazing and the lady was really nice :"

"I mean it’s McDonald’s… My son wanted a happy meal hold the food. So in other words he just wanted the Luca toy. From the new Disney movie. 21 bucks later. The 6 year old is happy. It wasn’t fast service, but that maybe because I didn’t even want to be inside. The lady was nice and the place wasn’t packed. Today they didn’t have change so you needed exact currency or you had to use a card. This could be an inconvenience. It was clean. So 4 stars."

"I attempted to make reservations for 9:00 on a Saturday night for 6 of us. Said it was full at 9 and 9:15 so I made them for 9:30. We walked in at 9:20 and every table was empty...only two couples at the bar. We were greeted nicely and sat at our table-it took about 10 minutes for someone to bring menus and to ask us for a drink order. It took 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive-very simple drinks. The waitress ran down a list of items that they were out of. The menu was very limited as it was the menus posted on line and on OpenTable have been reduced by at least half if not more). It took a very long time for our food to come out. When it did it came out in spurts 3...then 2...then the last one came out 10 minutes after we all had our meals and it was merely a chicken sandwich with fries. One steak was cooked correctly and the other two were supposed to be med rare but were medium well some of the diners with steak had spinach and some had pale broccoli. As far as the 2 chicken dinners the potatoes were cool, chicken cooked perfectly but no seasoning-while the sauce on the side was delicious it was so sparse that it could not bring enough flavor to help the non seasoned chicken. No bread was served with the meal. Overall we probably will never return. The servers were very nice .....but that can't keep a restaurant afloat. :"

"They are being renovated. I called and ordered a cheeseburger platter for my husband. It was almost $12. I am really not happy with the price because the burger I got from Red Robin’s was $10 and way better than anything I’ve ever gotten from here. So I guess the extra cost is to pay for the renovation. "
