"Dinner here with friends from Wetzlar. This is a warm, comfortable place with a complete and varied fish menu of sweetwater and saltwater varieties. Very good food - the fish is prepared with skill and a very light touch. The mixed appetizer plate was simply delicious and could be dinner for two. This night they also had Iberian pork roast on the menu. It was absolutely the best pork roast I have ever eaten! Dining with friends is always a treat, but this is a very hospitable place where even the most solitary traveler would be welcome."

"Habe dort eine Mittagspause eingelegt und bin sowohl mit dem Essen als auch der Bedienung, die sehr freundlich war, äußerst zufrieden. Das Café bietet mittags eine kleine Karte und natürlich den ganzen Tag über Kuchen und Kaffee. Die Lage des Cafés ist wunderschön und ermöglicht einen Blick auf die Lahn und den Wetzlarer Dom."

"The food is just perfect. Whether you chose meat, fish or pasta: everything is really tasty, good spices, cooked at the point. The menu has a broad variety of meat, fish, pasta and pizza. Also they have creative daily offerings (e.g. Iberican pig, pasta with...lobster, .. The sizes of the plates are really good. It is fair value for the money you pay. Absolutely recommendable, you will not find a better Italian restaurant in Wetzlar or Gießen!"

"I've been back to Lahn Café for a long time with two girlfriends for breakfast and it was a super nice morning. It was great despite Monday, but fortunately we have the last, most beautiful place in the rear corner with a sweet sofa. The breakfast buffet goes until 1 p.m. and since we were relatively late (13h there, perfect! Fresh croissants-very tasty-and I am often in France; rolls, cheese, cold cut, yoghurt, cereal, egg, tomatoes, orange juice-all that wants the heart for 8.50€! After that we looked at the Lahnterasse, where you can sit directly on the Lahn. What the next time... Thumb up and thanks to the nice owners/services... Last time we were always at noon... homemade soups and cakes."
