"This was a fantastic adventure for me, I came here with a good friend of mine who wanted me to experience a bit of his culture i felt like Andrew Zimner or Anthony Bordain. We started with fresh made bread (pitas) and butter and white onions. I started out with soup it was soooo good, ASH E'RESHTEH Vegetable Soup with Garbanzo pinto Beans, Topped with Sauteed Mint, Cream and Onions For lunch I got the Skewered Charbroiled Marinated Filet Mignon Served with a Broiled Tomato, Vegetables and Basmati Rice topped with Saffron rice Shawn had the Skewered Marinated Boneless Lamb Served with a Broiled Tomato, Vegetables and Basmati Rice with Saffron. tried his Lamb it was very moist and delicious Shawn explained the way you eat this is, you make a pocket in the rice, put in butter then the broiled tomato mash the tomato as the tomato is releasing its hot juices it melts the butter in to the rice then you sprinkle Sumac on top which is this tasty purple spice. You use your spoon and a fork and scoop some rice and veggies into the spoon and put some meat on top for every bit. Pretty cool to try some great food out of my comfort zone. Got to come back here for sure."

"This place seems very different than years ago. they do not have many vegan options on the menu, but at least a few, so I could come to breakfast here. it's a really nice place to sit at breakfast. love the room. I played it safe and had avacado toast that says from any reason no vegan option on menu, but the opposite insisted on a mistake and they can make it vegan. it was more like guacamole toast what I prefer. my son had the kinderquesadilla. it came with steamed completely unseasoned brokkoli. they had vegan cheese option, but I will never win it with this broccoli. it is a beautiful place, but as others have noticed, it has changed. they are open early so that they will be good for them!"

"Very excited to see my submission on happy cow! I thought this would be a great place for people like me who are mainly not vegan / non vegetarian friends. No matter what their nutritional preferences are, they can definitely find something delicious here. I tried the grilled vegetables panini, but asked her to remove the cheese and I got a cup of lens soup both were very delicious. I felt great after what was great! I also recommend the sadaf tee!"
