"Our waitress Crystal made our visit extra pleasant: she was very nice, friendly, fast and was like a mind reader brought extra items even before I thought about them The food was hot, fresh and tasty. I wanted a fresh Belgium style waffle with the chocolate chips and it was made perfect! Nut n’ grain pancakes are my forever favorite fluffy and hot. Hash browns were delicious and coffee tasted great. 4* for not friendly host and the manager and for not very clean tables, seats and clear booth separators. Luckily, I’ve got a table and it was clean."

"We ate here 3 days in a row, during vacation in San Diego, CA, so that should tell you how big the food is. I had the Grande Breakfast Burrito with Ranchera sauce. It was enough for 2 people to eat as it was packed with scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, fried potatoes, cheese in a flour tortilla with a really good Ranchera sauce. Hubby had a variety of waffles (plates waffle, apple cinnamon waffle with apples cooked in it and freshly cut apples on top with cinnamon brittle butter) next to agitator, bacon and sausage. He also had a bacon and cheese omelet with local potatoes and a side of mini waffles. On our last trip he had a fried chicken with waffles. Be ready for a bit of waiting because this place is often quite busy. Staff is great, food is excellent and prices are on time. Entries are huge. 2 people could simply share and fill one. Get a 1/2 orange juice with 1/2 pineapple juice is very good! Server gave us grapefruit juice wrong and it was NOT good. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend. Worth waiting!!! You will not be disappointed!!! Loves this place, food and personnel."

"Worth the wait! They did a great job giving the old Saska's the facelift it so desperately needed! It's still the awesome old school hangout, with a sexy new finish! Food and drink are exceptional as always... would recommend to EVERYONE in San Diego!!"
