"We recently moved to the area and tried to find a new favorite sushi place. Once we found Sushi Karu we stopped looking! Tasty sushi, great portions on the trays, and fair prices. And the people working have always been very nice and provided good service."

"Close to the airport. clean and friendly. there were additional precautionary measures because of kovid. Paper menus, thoroughly disinfect even their temperature before they sit. call them and make them reservations as they are busy and they can wait a very long for a table. there are 1. and half an hour max. time for her to eat. .good food, but warn the portions are large and generous, so they don't order almost everything on the menu at once as we did. eating is served quickly and almost all at once. we have cloged, they warn you that every food will be consumed. but it was good and worth it. the cost was $35 per person . will definitely come back when we visit toronto as there are some other places."

"The food here is wonderfully fresh and hot (if you want that) and sushi fresh. Unfortunately, when I went to the ladies washroom I began to doubt how sanitary the operation is. My feet (in new sneakers) stuck to the floor with every step. The...floor was black with dirt and bathroom stalls overall dodgy with suspicious smears on the wall above the toilet paper. After I got home I inspected my shoes. They were completely black after my venture into the washroom, and up the sides of the white sole. It took a lot of dish soap, warm water, and a rough rag to clean the sticky dirt off. I think they use Swiffer Wet mops and those never get the floor clean. They add layer upon layer of sticky stuff that traps bacteria. Hopefully the management reads this and addresses the disgusting floors."
