"We enjoyed a lovely meal at Fräulein Fiona's during our 5 day stay in Berlin and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.We went on a Thursday and were glad we had made a reservation online as the restaurant is fairly small and appeared fully booked. Fiona was very welcoming and the layout of the tables created a sense of intimacy for our dinner for two.We went for the €33 three-course menu option, which included a tasty chorizo amuse-bouche. I then had the 'Salad of prime boiled beef & peppers on lambs lettuce with croutons' which was delicious followed by the 'Roast pork with cabbage and Riesling ravioli au gratin' which was also excellent. My wife went for the 'Consommé of oxtail' followed by the 'Wild boar ragout on turnip mash & sautéed Brussels sprouts'. The consommé was good although the seasoning of the ragout was a little too intense for our tastes.We washed the whole lot down with a 50cl carafe of 'Merlot VdP d'Oc. France. Domerval' which was so pleasant that we ordered a second.For dessert, my wife ordered the 'Chocolate cake with kumquats' and I went for the 'Pear-gingerbread-swirl with buttermilk-cinnamon ice cream'.The total bill for the food and the 1 litre of wine came to just under €100 - not cheap, but worth it for the nicest meal we had during our stay in Berlin."
