"I mentioned this restaurant in my review of the Chateau Nova Hotel. Maybe it was a fluke, but we found this restaurant lacking. Our mistake to order the breakfast buffet. Sounded like it would be good, as we had talked with staff the night before.Everything, and I mean everything was barely warm. Cool pancakes? You bet. Blah eggs, tasteless breakfast potatoes and passable bacon/sausage. No variety. There was fresh fruit and yogurt and plain cereals. We mentioned to the hostess about the food temperature and she said she would tell the chef. For a hotel of this caliber the breakfast buffet either needs to be severely upgraded or removed completely.They had a menu and it looked like that might have been a better choice. The hostess had told me that the cost of the buffet (which she initially unsure of) was $10.95 pp. and free for our two 2 yr old grandkids. Then she said that the drinks for the kids had to be charged. On leaving, the bill stated that the buffet was $14.95 pp and the hostess denied telling me it was $10.95. At 10.95 the buffet was overpriced, but $14.95? For this? They should be ashamed. I was not there for the bill paying and my wife told me later the discrepancy of cost. She just paid it and we left.I sincerely hope this event and meal were a one-off. I do not like to give negative reviews unless it is necessary for my own peace of mind, or to help others make an informed choice. If this was indicative of the usual breakfast buffet, they should do as I suggested above. Avoid the buffet at all costs. Considering the other reviewer had a very positive experience with a brunch, I would suggest that readers just make their own decisions regarding when to eat here."

"Been here a handful of times and find the service to be very hit or miss . Several times we 've been there the service is timely and food is good. But there have been several other times where the wait times to receive menus, have drink orders taken, receive drinks, etc. is quite long. However, on my most recent visit for Sunday Brunch (Feb 23, 2020 , the waitresses went above and beyond to rectify the wait time. It did take a while to get our menus/drinks, but to make up for the wait they offered to comp not only our first, but also our second round of drinks. It definitely made up for the wait time and exceeded my expectations. (As there have been times in the past where i waited 15+ minutes for 1 drink and wasn 't offered anything more than a sorry for the wait . But due to the great service on Sunday past I will return again. Our waitresses that day were also very attentive and checked in with us quite a few times during the meal."

"An age group I know a few members regularly to Ricky's All Day Grill for monthly get-together (pre-pandemic). My wife and I decided to go there to see how the food was. Nancy had the Weiner Schnitzel with “Neptune...sauce” and I decided to taste her wine roasted beef short ribs. The Schnitzel was “okay” but the sauce I think should be Hollandaise was unpleasantly sweet without real balance and character. At least the shrimps were not overcooked. The cabbage was unnoticed. In everything, edible, but not something we would ever try again. Right with the short rib shell. The boneless beef was tender, but had little or no rich taste, which originates from braided short ribs. It tasted like a piece of generic beef that was stuffed in a sauce by someone who is blind after a recipe for it, but has never really tasted how it should taste! A background of uncooked wine and a little salty with little balance and taste depth. Again, edible, but not something I would ever order again."
