"We enjoyed a great meal here while visiting Kelowna. Hubby had a very tasty lamb burger while I had a steak sandwich. Our entree came with a delicious bacon potato soup which I would have been happy with just that. Our service was great and not intrusive. Would dine here again."

"My wife and I have been going to Basil Mint for two years and have had an amazing experience with every visit. Tonight was no exception. We visited to celebrate our anniversary and were immediately welcomed and congratulated. We were sat by the window as per my reservation and the service was impeccable. My wife is a fan of the roast chicken and it has never disappointed. I usually vary between the specials and again have never been disappointed. The flavors are always bold and the meat very juicy. My recommendation is their 16oz steak when it's one of their seasonal specials. Their menu selection is a little smaller but each item is mastered by the chefs. If you are looking for a restaurant for your special occasion, whatever it may be, or an evening to treat yourself to amazing cuisine I can't recommend this place any higher."

"Raudz has been our go to for at least 13 years now. Last Friday we went and we were surprised to see how the usually impeccable service had changed. The room was busy as usual for a Friday but with 3 bartenders behind the bar I waited 40 minutes for my first drink. My spouse ordered at the same time as I and received his 10 min before. We were told that our stay would be a 2 hour maximum (certainly not what one would expect), at first. Our appetizer dishes sat dirty in front of us for 30 minutes and another 15 before I picked them up and put them on the bar beside us. Our entrees were excellent. And the wine service was excellent. They ended up not holding us to the 2-hour limit because of the $600 +tip we rang up (I'm sure). Perhaps it was just an off night, it happens, and we will probably return but, we were surprised to see the bar drop just the amount it had. Do go though, as the food is very well made and mostly local sections. "Great weing and even better lunch. we have often visited the little weinberge of the straw and from some strange ground have never walked up to the barrel top grill. this trip we have spoken for a lunch. chef trevor greeted us and greeted us. to the grill. sitting on the terrace with a slightly smoky view over the valley to the lake offered a great place to lunch. we put ourselves in the hands of the chef for the chef's choirs. he did not disappoint three plates for us was perfect. he asked for allergies before the start and when the food was delivered, he gave us a tour through the plates and described what we wanted to enjoy. trevor was a very dedicated host, who was so interested in us as he was eating about what he prepared and served. this is a great place for a relaxed lunch over a glass of wine. do not pass it by as we have done for a few years. not again."

"The best authentic Mexican restaurant in Kelowna. The tacos are fresh as well as the veggies. I think the peas in the rice were frozen, not sure as I didn't eat them. I appreciated how the plates are heated, small detail but something not everyone does. Drinks are on the pricey side. Service is excellent and the back patio reminds me of being in Mexico. Washrooms are small and clean."

"The food here was sub par compared to other places of similar caliber. The views and atmosphere is great. The service here though should be mentioned. Once we were seated the only time we got a server was present was to take our order and take payment. There was a manger walking around stopping by at a few tables to see how the service was, we were not one of the tables, even though I was sitting there with an empty cup along with my friend with a near empty glass. Looking at prior reviews to see if this was maybe a rare occasion, I guess maybe not and it looks like racism plays a big part if you decide to go here. Had really high expectations going here as we are visiting from Alberta, soon after we arrived we were very disappointed. Will not be returning and I highly recommend trying other restaurants in the surrounding area. It was not a busy day at all, there was quite a few servers and workers in the facility."

"Starter of elk tartare and tapas was really good. We then waited about an hour for the main which we ordered at the same.time as the starter! It was not particularly busy. When it arrived the halibut was really overcooked as was the ravioli with the duck. Ridiculous time delay and food had obviously been kept warm for too long.Very disappointed to be fair."
