"I love seafood, but in the area of Essex is usually the best seafood like buildings. The village is a great sitdown restaurant and ideal for people who want the best fresh seafood and a beautiful restaurant atmosphere to enjoy it. The prices are reasonable, the service is good (purchased a bit slow at times) and I HIGHLY beat the lobster appetizer for which to die. I also suggest the Calamari, shrimp and fish. Not the best place for fried mussels."

"Last time we had Mimmo's was years ago in Saint Albans and it wasn't a good experience. So since it's been awhile we decided to give it another go and let me just say we were impressed and happy with our dinner. Everything was how we placed and tasted good beside the Caesar dressing, tasted a little funky like it had lemon or lime in it. Not sure. They also just threw the bread in the bag with the pasta and we found that a little weird and recommend they at least wrap the bread next time."

"First time eating here didn’t even know it was in town !! Food was ok lasagna was really good I would have it again but the Fettucine Alfredo wasn’t any good it was oily and sauce was to thin. Overall I would try this place again and try another one of their pasta plates!! Service was also good!!"
