"The bartender from my hotel recommended Los Gauchitos. I went to the restaurant to get a to-go order. I purchased a Chivito sandwich and a caesar salad. Both dishes were very good. The only caveat that I would comment upon is that an 18% service charge for a to-go order is a bit out of reason in my opinion. There is a big difference between serving a table and serving a to-go order. To go order: grab the boxes from the cook, put them in a bag a process the payment. BTW there were no napkins or salt and pepper packets in the bag. While I was waiting for the order I had a beer but when I had finished the beer and the order was not ready, the waitress never asked if I wanted another beer. Upselling is important in all businesses and Los Gauchitos missed out on a bigger ticket price. The selection of wines is very impressive. I would recommend this restaurant with some reservations like 18% service for a non high-end restaurant. Tipping customs in the USA have gone to being almost foolish."

"Beautiful interior. They did a very well job on the food we ordered. Then fresh packaged juice they sell tastes as if they just squeezed it in-front of me. Flavorful sandwich. Friendly staff. Clean place. Just a bit expensive."

"The chicken soup was bizzare! . It was chicken broth with chunks of corn meal floating around and maybe a shread of chicken meat. The empanada was almost like a tofu consistency didnt taste or feel like chicken. mushroom empanada was good though!"

"Nice rooms and pool area, comfortable king bed, and great location for a pre-cruise stay. Tia at the front desk was awesome and working hard. She was there when I went to bed and working hard again first thing the next morning. Yaribel working the bar was fantastic, too. She had a few extremely rude guests and kept a smile on her face, a positive attitude and provided us with excellent customer service. I'd definitely stay here for our next cruise."

"We picked up Cocinita burgers, fries, cauliflower “meat” appetizer and a double protein shake from The Cocinita to eat in the car (our favorite) en route to the middle Keys this weekend. Touch screen order scenario at the restaurant, our order was finished in a short time. The burgers were suitable for hungry vegans, the cauliflower meat left a lot to be desired (especially for the pricetag) and the $18 espresso double-protein shake I would not otherwise purchase if I weren’t on holiday removed from my own blender/daily protein supplements. Vegan restaurants on my reviews always get 5/5 stars by plant-based virtue, but the bang you get for your buck at the Cocinita is probably 2/5.Vegetarian options: Plant based restaurant!"
