"This place was really dope! I can't think of a cooler coffee place near the beach where you can get all your morning fuel. The parking lot is small but has plenty of spaces it seemed like. The whole cafe is really warm and woodsy, but has this awesome quirkiness of having a bunch of elephant's everywhere. Artwork, statues, trinkets, you name it. The place had a few people in it but we were able to grab a spot at some bar stools. There are 2 menus: one for food and one for drinks.Unfortunately we got there too late to try any scones or most of their baked goods (they must be fire), so we decided to get what they had left lol, the breakfast cookie and a bagel with cream cheese. The staff was very kind and told me that the baked goods sell out super early. The breakfast cookie was amazing, it was fat and soft, loaded with nuts, berries and banana flavor. It was a complete meal. And the bagel, although basic, was hard to beat. This was one of the better cafe bagels I've had, it was toasted to perfection. For drinks, we got a latte and a regular coffee. Coffee was pretty good! I'd definitely go back, next time to get a scone!"

"Total experience was fantastic. The food on the other was less than stellar. The dishes were priced like a steakhouse. $42 for lasagna is crazy to say the least. Lasagna didn't taste fresh and was too salty. Try as baked a day ago and simply heated. The layers of pasta tasted like yesterday. My wife liked her spaghetti. We also ordered the Calamari Appetizer, but had difficulty finding any Calamari or shrimp that were advertised. Most of the time, onions and other vegetables were roasted deep. Presentation of this dish was less than appetite. Overall, the value for the spent money was very overwhelming. I would not return or recommend this place."

"As usual it was a great experience. My ricotta omelette was a little bland so we got hot sauce to spice it up. One and only complaint is the table by the window. We’ve sat there twice recently and it’s sticky. Needs to be stripped and refinished. So if you stay away from that you’ll love eating there!"

"WEnt in Valentine’s Day. Loved the food. Pricing was on par with the area. It was Valentine’s Day so very busy and a little chaotic with reservations and delays but they rectified the longer wait with free Prosecco. Family owned and operated and very Italian. I’d come back for the spicy radiatore dish. Mouth watering good. Also the spumoni ice cream cake. So good!!"

"Molé at Chez Shea in Half Moon Bay! Thanks everyone for a delicious dinner and excellent service! I have eaten LOTS of molé. This plate goodness is well balanced and satisfying. So much so I was scraping the plate for every bit of sauce. Next time I will ask for a extra tortilla to mop up the plate! A glass of zinfandel suited the flavors. At same time enhancing the spice molé giving it a little more kick. Order some if you have the molé. Sat at the window bar to watch the world go by. And come in too. Enjoyed the Lavender Crème Brûlée. Tasty lavender flavor plainly apparent, but not overpowering. Nice to see Chez Shea is a dog friendly place. After watching a few go to the patio I walked back to check out the area. Cute tables and a few dog dishes as well. The four-footed family members will feel at home during the meal. Bar setting where I enjoyed my meal was clean and neat. Bathrooms are kept up well. You can send you kids in without worry. The staff was full of smiles. The other patrons were full of life and happy chatting. All of this makes Chez Shea an upbeat and tasty place to entertain you mouth and your mind.
