"Popped into this place after meeting some old friends at the Echopoint and went down to the shuttle stop for a fast bite big little shop/cafe easy lunch drinks and not too bad price Quick service fish and chips very nice hot and crispy (mushy...peas req lol) but the Gravy was ok instead, salad nice and other food looked good from nice place to have a pretty bite chat again"

"There are a lot of places to eat along this strip of Katoomba St, so we just sort of stumbled into this place after parking outside and seeing their menu board on the footpath. A band was setting up just inside the door when we arrived. The menu is mostly traditional meat and veg stuff, with a few nice twists. The prices are very good and the servings plentiful. The service was quick and pleasant and we enjoyed the rockabilly music for a while. There is a liquor store right next door, the restaurant is only BYO but there is no charge for that."

"Missed our order at the motel for breakfast so headed out early in the morning for a meal before a day out at Scenic World. We drove into Katoomba centre and found a free undercover park at Woollies. Just down a lane way and into the Main Street we found Vee's. Great friendly staff, absolutely fabulous coffee and a yummy cooked breakfast to die for. One of us (me) would have liked the front door shut, but nobody else seemed to agree!They sell their packaged coffee beans whole or ready ground. All roasted on the premises.Definitely having another breakfast there before we leave Katoomba. Yum-o."
