"I had the Shepherd's Pie and a Guinness, both at half-size, which is a really great option at a restaurant. All pies come with bread, butter and a side salad. The pie was full of generous chunks of burger, peas and carrots, gravy and topped with great tasting, real mashed potato. It was very good and satisfying, and like all British (and Canadian) food it can do with a splash of salt and pepper. The Guinness is at proper temp and sat before being served, so I'm a happy camper. The atmosphere is easy and quiet at an early hour on Wednesday night. You choose your own table and order at the bar, and they'll serve you at the table. I see music speakers set up in the corner, so I'm a bit sad that I wasn't here for a music night!"
