"We were staying at the Hyatt, so Chili's was very convenient. Our first night, we sat inside (air con a bit cold! and only booth style seating, however, the margaritas were great. We revisited the next night (about 8 of us this time , sat outside,...as most pleasant and again, had great drinks, including mojitos. Guacamole made at the table; onion rings, chicken wings .. great just to nibble, instead of having a full meal. Staff happy to keep extending our table ... thank you.."

"The service was incredible, Armando our waiter understood English and was very well spoken and explained the different cuts of meat, even brought us the collection of meats to our table. He gave great recommendations for appetizer and made sure we were satisfied. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the quality of the meat was as superb and for a fraction of the price you’d pay elsewhere. The cocktails were well presented and tasted marvellously, the portion of the cocktail and the food was on point. Excellent all around, will certainly come back and recommend it 100%."

"This visually attractive restaurant needs to put some systems in place. First, their banner states that they close at 7, but they're open late. At 7:30, there was no shrimp left. Our group of 12 were the only customers - yet it took way more than 45 minutes, and several polite requests, for us to get our food. Food was average. Happy Hour is just a reduced price on drinks, not 2-for-1. Not poor, but still below average experience. No reason to return."

"Family owned and operated this restaurant has been serving home style, italian cuisine for many years. We go once a week to enjoy a meal prior to the Symphony in the beautiful Peon Contreras. Even though it is no longer listed on the menu we start with sharing the Ceasar salad which has a dressing with anchovies and parm, olive oil and lemon just as it should be. We enjoy the pasta dishes which are served with an abundance of well made sauces. Always a delight and the serving staff always remember us which makes the evening even more enjoyable."

"Nothing at all fancy about this little place but the friendly staff and good food at low prices make a winning combination. While billing itself as a healthy eating establishment, the food is healthy but still tasty. And portions generous. They have a small but varied menu but I usually opt for the daily lunch special. For 50 to 60 pesos, it includes a bowl of soup but the entree, always including healthy vegetables and salad. A choice of drink is included as well as bread and a small desert. A real bargain. The waiter does it all including being the cashier, waiting tables and answering the phone. And he manages very well, always explaining every item he places on the table. Impressive.I was also impressed when an employee passed my table and greeted me by name. I was puzzled as to how he knew until I saw he was the delivery driver. He sees my name on the delivery ticket. Still, an impressive memory.Highly recommended if looking for a tasty , inexpensive lunch in the cental area of Santa Ana Park and the Paseo Montejo."

"We had lunch at the Jardin de santa ana and were well pleased with the food, friendliness of the staff and price. We did not want a full meal so we started with an order of guacamole. It was made to order, a good balance of lime, avacado, tomato and onion; the chips were prepared at the restaurant and were very light and crisp. We followed this with an order of panuchos for each one of us. The order is three fried corn tortillas stuffed with a very flavorable black bean puree. This was topped with shredded chicken seasoned with the traditional recado colorado, shredded lettuce, pickled red onions, a slice of avacado and tomato. These are prepared very traditionally and were some of the best we have had. To drink, we had two agua chaya with lemonade, this was two each, and also delightful. The whole meal was 200 pesos, or about $18 US. Highly recommended and we will return."
