"This used to be one of my favourite brunch locations. I 've been coming here for many many years, and I brought friends over the years too. Sadly, I don 't think I 'll be eating here again. The way we were treated by staff last time I visited was not nice. I don 't know what the name of the waitress is, but she had pink hair. We arrived there early, so the restaurant was almost completely empty. The waitress treated us like she wasn 't happy to have us there and as if she had other customers to attend. I don 't really understand this, but perhaps she doesn 't like big groups. For example she rushed us to order food, and when we asked for a couple minutes she said, If another group arrives before you order, I 'm going to serve them instead. I don 't even know what that means..."

"Only open part time now after pandemic, food seemed better pre pandemic, now many of the options have changed including the corn bread. Meat doesn't seem as flavorful or tender either but still decent."

"First time at All Star Wings and Ribs<br/ <br/ The place is pretty great if you 're a big sports fan as there are TVs everywhere and locked into booths as well. Located right by the Scarborough Town Centre, the restaurant is in the same plaza as the supermarket (FreshCO? I don 't remember and am too lazy to look) on McCowan and Ellesmere. <br/ <br/ First of all, the choices for wing sauces is ridiculous! I didn 't count them but I would guess it 's easily over 100 different combinations. The crappy part for me is that they don 't give you a description of what the sauces actually are and you 're forced to ask the poor waitress for any questions you may have. Being the indecisive person that I am, I found it a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, you can pretty much guess certain sauces. Caesar Does Texas and Texan Creole...gee, I wonder what those could be...<br/ <br/ I opted for the 'This is Sparta! ' sauce which was chipotle BBQ wings and Tzatziki. Sounded good when I repeated it in my head, but I just wasn 't a fan of the combination. The wings come coated in the Chipotle BBQ sauce but it 's not mixed with the Tzatziki as the tzatziki is just poured over it. I will say that the wings without the tzatziki were actually pretty damn good. They were crispy, hot, and really juicy on the inside. <br/ <br/ Servers are friendly with some looking pretty good. Clientele here look like a bunch of douchebags, which is fine as I 'll just ignore them and focus on my football. The prices are pretty standard, and that wing selection is intense!"

"Really enjoyed the relaxed, rustic ambience. The staff seemed genuinely interested in making us happy and relaxed. Also enjoyed the beer, wine and food choices which weren't huge but high quality which was borne out in our choices. We'll definitely bring friends there in the future."

"I've always preferred going to a stand-alone restaurant over a food court. It is the same when it comes to Aroma Espresso Bar. I have avoided going to the one in the Urban Eatery at the Eaton Centre because I'd rather go to one of the cafes. However, with no Metropass and the lack of time to walk to other Aromas, I buckled down and went to the one at Urban Eatery.<br/ <br/ Prior to this trip, I always got a personal sandwich and a drink from Aroma. I decided that I wanted more food and remembered the barista telling me that if I get the DoubleUp Combo, it would be $10 including tax. I thought that was a pretty good deal so I decided to go for the combo this time around. The DoubleUp Combo $8.85 includes two choices of: soup or any personal sandwich or mixed greens/caesar salad/chopped salad/quinoa salad. I got the Philly Chicken sandwich and the Butternut Squash soup. They forgot my bread and butter for the soup when I received my meal. Since it was busy, I simply waited and told them they forgot my bread and it was resolved immediately.<br/ <br/ Can I say, hands down, Aroma's Butternut Squash soup is my favourite soup ever. I've never had a favourite soup up until now. It was thick and creamy with the right amount of sweetness. The sandwich was tasty but soup totally overshadowed it in this meal.<br/ <br/ Aroma Espresso Bar is popular with the working crowd during lunch time as always . Being located in the Eaton Centre, it is accessible to those who work in the mall and anyone who has access to the Path. It has its own fenced off section in the food court, exclusive to those who order from Aroma. Overall, it is a good alternative if you are unable to run to the Bay and Dundas location go to that one if you can! .<br/ <br/ Thank you to my Aroma Fairy for providing me with the coupons so I could purchase the food for this review! <br/"

"Unlike other spots I've been to along Bloor in Bloordale, The Jim has something for everyone. Great spot for a date night, a group outing with friends or go in as a single looking for a comfy spot at the bar. The space is laid back, clean and provides amenities such as 3 TV’s and 2 arcade games with welcoming staff. Most importantly, The Jim offers up an extensive tap list and can selection of beers and ciders that could keep you there all night. They also offer a small but mighty cocktail menu, including a fantastic Smoked Caesar with Bacon (YUM! . Their food menu really won me over as it is the host to many classics with a couple great vegan options all at a great price. The best part about their menu is that if you look a little closer you’ll see that it is much more adventurous than first meets the eye, including items such as Boar, Bison and daily specials like crocodile tacos which I tried myself and were delicious! What you can expect – homey, fun atmosphere, dad jokes, great beers/ciders/cocktails and food that don't break the bank Where they go above and beyond – arcade games, ideally placed TV’s hosting sports or your favourite 90’s music videos, unique menu options and soon to be a second level for more fun and games! The Jim really has the whole package and so happy to have a spot like this pop up in my neighbourhood :"

"Great brunch and lunch place! They offer breakfast foods but also wraps and paninis! Only thing is when it gets really busy I find that their food is sometimes inconsistent. For example, any time we’ve been on a busy day, the home fries aren’t as crispy as their usually home fries. But I find that the prices are really reasonable and I would recommend this place. "You can view this episode on the wehungry.co website and check out our review<br/ <br/ What an amazing location to do a restaurant review, who would have ever thought you would be able to put an amazing place to eat viewing the whole of downtown Toronto!<br/ <br/ Well the Manulife building in mid town Toronto has what is truly a spectacular and unique experience to offer for you! Firstly getting to the building is real easy, its a simple walk up Yonge Street until you get to, Bloor and then you take a left and you really can 't miss it!<br/ <br/ However once entering the building we must of taken the long way, because we ended up walking for 5 minutes in the building to find the actual entrance to the restaurant. However once their, a massive sign appears above saying '180 ' then a menu and then of course the elevator to get you to the top!<br/ <br/ Going up 50 floors I thought would be a piece of cake, but the ears did pop several times. However when you enter your greeted by the hostess and then given a table. We literally got shown our table and then we straight away went out side to get a glimpse of the amazing view. It was breathtaking!<br/ <br/ Ordering didn 't take too long, and we received our food quite promptly, the pizza was so awesome how it was presented, and I got scissors to cut it as well which was a new thing.<br/ <br/ The pizza itself was really good, and the experience was a really positive one, I would highly recommend anyone going to Toronto or who lives in Toronto, if they wanted to dine at a special place, this is a must!<br/ <br/ Review<br/ <br/ Food 4<br/ Service 4.5<br/ Atmosphere 4<br/ Price 3"
