"We stayed in the hotel for one night and decided to try the hotel restaurant. I am never sure about hotel restaurants as the standard can be quite low. However this one was very good. There is an a la carte menu which offers a good choice of salads and grills, pasta, fish and meat dishes. There is also a small table d'hote menu offering 2 or 3 courses for a fixed price. You can mix and match between the two menus if you prefer. Some very nice starters choices. We had the goats cheese; tiger king prawns and lamb kofta. Big portions and very tasty. For mains one of us chose a chicken salad from the set menu. The other two had the Hake fillet with fennel and mussels veloute. I thought the prices were quite reasonable , the Hake was exceptional value at £15. Good, friendly service."
