"I've eaten at several Pita Pit restaurants over the years and have come to expect exactly what I got today: a quality pita (almost always get the souvlaki and today was no exception , prepared to my request by a cohesive team in a clean environment....When I came in over the lunch hour today the 4 staff were clearly busting their butts (every table was filled with patrons and there were several people in line still waiting to have their orders taken , but they didn't give off any vibe of being stressed out and in fact all the staff were kind, many asking in a genuine tone about how our days were going (probably knowing they were risking people complaining about the wait for food! , with one apologizing for being short staffed. The woman ahead of me in line was there to express concern about her pita's freshness. Although it turned out she was unfamiliar with one of the ingredients, the staff still offered her a refund or another pita. To me, this was a great example of customer service: in my mind he really didn't need to do that, but he did. Not only do I appreciate the kindness of that gesture, here I am telling the online world about it, which may benefit the business."

"I’ve already written elsewhere about how White Spot has become a BC institution, known for their award-winning burgers (even getting a mention in Van City Buzz a few years ago) and Pirate Packs, so I won’t re-iterate that point here. In regard to White Spot generally, I think it is enough to say that, as far as family restaurants go, they’re pretty much near the top in terms of quality, customer service and reliability. The Terrace location is a fine example.First, a little bit of history. This isn’t the first time White Spot has been in Terrace. In fact, it has been here at least once before – in this exact location. However, in its previous incarnation, the hotel it was attached to was the Coast Hotel (now the Days Inn.) The White Spot shut down a number of years ago for whatever reason, but returned earlier this year. I, for one, couldn’t be more pleased because, let’s be honest, in terms of family restaurants, Terrace doesn’t have much. There’s Denny’s, but they’re terrible. And then there are a couple of pizza places. That’s it! So, White Spot; or, rather, the return of White Spot, helps to fill a void in the Terrace food scene. Welcome back!Now, as I mentioned above, the Terrace White Spot is an exemplary example of customer service. I say this because on our initial visit we were in a bit of a rush – we had to get to the airport in fairly short order. Recognizing that we’d probably run short on time, we called the White Spot and phoned in our order so that it would be ready (or at least close to ready) by the time we arrived at the establishment. The folks who answered the phone were more than accommodating – taking our order and confirming that, yes, it would be ready shortly after our arrival. We weren’t disappointed: We received our drinks and appetizers immediately upon being seated and only had to wait about ten minutes to receive the rest of our order: chicken pot pie, spaghetti and meat balls, turkey dinner and fish "

"This restaurant is located inside the Best Western. Interior looks pretty modern and felt comfortable. When we arrived all of the bar seats were taken by guys who were having after work drinks. They were a little loud, but ignorable (is that a word? and...cleared out not long after. My friend had the kebab and loved it. I enjoyed the Santa Fe salad (minus the dates and was surprised at how much kick the chicken had. It wasn't excessive, I was just caught off guard. Also a plus for us this is another Terrace establishment that carries Sherwood Brewery (local microbrew on draft. We happily enjoyed a pitcher of their lager. Server was attentive, pleasant and helpful. We will definitely return to try out their range of Indian dishes."

"Haven't been a fan of this place for the most part - mainly because I felt the service was incredibly slow. However, I gave it another shot, and after a recent visit or 2 I've changed my mind. The service is definitely faster than the last time I was there. They had a nice Oktoberfest menu. Their chocolate martinis are wonderful. Their nachos? Well, I'll make mine at home from now on. They either had a deal on black olives or ordered too much, because they overwhelmed the plate (and weren't all noticeable as they were under the cheese.) They weren't horrible but I left an awful lot of olives on the plate. Overall, it's a cozy little place well laid out "
