"On the upside: the duck wings were tasty, as was the poutine. On the down side: We ordered a cocktail each, and there was no alcohol in them- and service was so bad there was nothing we could do about it before our appetizers came. The sauces were clearly from a packet- tasty, but if I wanted Knorr mushroom sauce, I could make it at home. Lastly, we had a stomach ache for a week after eating at Le Carlitos, so I don't think the food was very fresh."

"The food was wonderful! All four of us were so happy with our wonderful meals. The service was friendly and good. When we entered the restaurant (near 8pm, we found it dark, but then enjoyed the ambiance, though it wasn't the main draw for this place. Go for the food! Prices were good, and portions were substantial."

"We got to Le Riverin and had the help of the server to find parking for our car and trailer and with translating the menu. Good humour and perserverence got us through. The food was delicious and that difference that reflects the character of the francophone culture."

"We called in here on a Monday evening and the two of us doubled the clientele . i do not understand why as the food was reasonably priced , staff pleasant and the salmon i had was out of this world . they also have many craft beers which was very nice indeed . The beer was a tasty as the food , but very little atmosphere as only four of us in the restaurant."

"Recommended by local friends we headed here for early dinner. It looked crowded and we were ready to wait. Fortunately we didn't have to wait. The 8 of us ordered 10 dishes from the menu for main dishes. Love the Mac and cheese and Beef baguette. Burgers, pouring and fried chicken ordered by the kids were yummy and good portion. We ordered apple pie with ice cream and donuts to share for desert. All were yummy and satisfying. Nice and great value food. Friendly staff and atmosphere."
