"Als regelmässiger Bar & Restaurant Gast, kann ich die Küche sehr Empfehlen, zwar Typisches Hotelrestaurant mit dementsprechendes Standard Angebot, aber Qualität immer Top, und sehr freundliche Bedienung, vor allem die Bar-Chefin ist sehr freundlich und kompetent, das Einzige was noch fehlt ist ein gutes Weizenbier in einer 0.5 L Flasche."

"Such an amazing place with an excellent service and great food. Simply love it WOW! The “Zürcher Geschnetzeltes” is melting in your moth, just as the chocolate mousse at the end. Nice wine selection, too."

"Because I have family living next door, I stayed here and have eaten many years here. the hotel is located directly on the zürichsee and in the summer has a charming terrace. it has two restaurants. the taverne is more medium and on the upper floor its. more traditional Swiss/Continental tariff. the rooms are on the small side, but who cares. clean, modern and well equipped. the parking lot is a bit problematic. but a well-run hotel thanks to mr and mrs imiser"

"Warning LONG REVIEW If you are a biker wanting to rest your weary head after a hard day 's ride I 'd advise not to camp here. Just returned from a 2 week trip around Europe Switzerland and this is the worst campsite we stayed at. To start off we were really thankful to just get to the campsite as we tried to avoid paying for a vignette our fault) so the sat nav took us through 2 busy city centres and the traffic was horrendous. The bike overheating due to staying still for so long. When we arrived the car park was absolutely stoughed out and more cars streaming in with no where to park causing traffic jams. At reception we were greeted by a lovely girl and paid for our stay we had already emailed the campsite who said we did not need to book as they would have enough room). We paid 40 CHF which we thought was a little on the high side considering the facilities but we were in Zurich so fair enough. The girl stated that we could not park the bike on the grass next to our pitch which was a bit annoying because we had to carry our gear but I had read this on the website I 'm presuming this is because of how busy they were as the other two tent areas was jammed with tents and would have no space for vehicles). She did say we could take the bike on the grass to unload but then move the bike which was a bonus but we did not want to manouver the bike around the childrens playground with kids on so we chose to carry our gear. There were no other tents apart from us in our section all night third tent area) so we asked again at reception if they could let us park next to the tent. The answer was no which was fair enough we wouldn 't have been really bothered, if there was actually somewhere to park the bike! We explained this to a lad on reception that there was nowhere to park the bike and we were met with a blank stare and all he had to say was if we couldn 't park we would have to go across the road and pay to stay in the private carpark there. We thought this was shocking since we had paid to stay the night. We asked if we could park in the carpark further up which had a lot of spaces and were told no as this was for restaurant customers only. He then explained there was an event on hence why it was so busy which was not on the website otherwise we would never have chose to stay there. Was also told ' 'we were lucky ' ' we could pitch up on the 3rd tent area as it 's not what they usually allow we had been guaranteed a space). If we hadn 't travelled for so long we would of went somewhere else but we were stuck. We eventually managed to get a space where a bike left so got parked for the night. We got a bad night sleep due to noise from the event and people talking at 5am in the morning. The facilities were not great I did expect more, there was mould on the toilet/shower walls and was generally outdated. The only real good thing was the breakfast in the shop which sold croissants which were nice. Overall staff not helpful and really did not enjoy having to spend time looking for a space after a long /tiring day after every other campsite I 've ever been to never had issues with parking especially a bike which takes up so little space compared to a car. Advise any biker or any other vehicle not to come here will be a stressful experience and unhelpful staff and is a really noisy campsite. Would advise to build a larger carpark which actually accounts for the number of people staying there if you will not allow people to park vehicles next to their tents."
