"If you are looking for a place called Spinellis, it appears the restaurant of the Italian food center. We decided to go to this place for lunch. We both ordered a torpedo sandwich from their specials board and thought that was their...ass. A sandwich should be smoked with maple chests and the other one a beef. The two thin small pieces of meat and cheese placed on the sandwiches were tiny and tasteless. Café Latte was good, but quite expensive. The big latte we ordered was disappointingly small. You can easily get a bigger latte of Starbucks, which is just as good or better than what they use here. The restaurant is part of the grocery store. You order and pay for your food at the switch then wait until your order is called. The prices in the grocery store are far too high. You sell a lot of unique ethnic food, but you can get the exact same items elsewhere in the city for much more reasonable prices. It is difficult to buy in the store as the Aisles are barely wide enough to allow a car in some places. Good luck maneuvering through these journeys! It is very unlikely that I will ever be back."

"When I sit here engorged with the filling of food I only eat too much. I think. holy that was amazing. unreal. If they want to make it to edmonton and eat a really good Italian, they come here. we're coming back. Oh, it was so good....I ordered another court to come back with me. excellent service over it! thanks for dinner!"

"Great food. Love the panini sandwiches and the soup is delicious! When I visited a few years ago there was a lovely young woman who worked there who was so kind and helpful. And she made the best lattes! I returned every time I was in Edmonton. It was a quiet place to grab a bite, read the paper and relax. Unfortunately when I visited recently I found that she has been replaced with a couple of rude young ladies, who chose to pay attention to their smart phones instead of taking my order. When I finally did get their attention they glared at me, rudely told me that the sandwiches in the case were for display only. When I asked which sandwiches they had left, they seemed annoyed. When I inquired about the soup they seemed even more irritated. Apparently helping customers is inconvenient and exhausting!My panini was still delicious and the soup was good too. But the service was bad enough, that I'm not sure I will stop in again. Hopefully the management will see that these employees are damaging the overall dining experience here. Hope things change. If they do...I will return!"

"We started at the Hotel Macdonald which included a 3 course meal for2. The scallop with prawn a squid ink risotto was fabulous. We both had the beef tenderloin which was prepared to perfection. Our server Jacob was outstanding, as we frequent the harvest room Jacob remembers our likes and others superior service. The overall staff are great and just offers outstanding service. As we were celebrating my wife's birthday we got complimentary cake and a dessert champagne. We couldn't eat it all as our dinner included dessert. Great meal wonderful evening with great views of the river valley"
