"Like a lot of older hotels it has seen better times and some rooms are in need of an update. Very clean though and the rooms are massive and good beds as well. Didn't have one nights bad sleep in 2 weeks. The staff are very nice courteous and helpful no complaints there. The restaurant is a letdown though as it's expensive and there isn't much choice. Not even a curry! The Steaks and the Lasagne were very good, avoid the fish and chips at all costs. The triple cooked chips were not fresh they were frozen home fries from the supermarket I think. All in all a good stay but the restaurant needs to up it's offers. BTW there is an excellent Chinese take away a 2 minute drive down the road and they were the best I have had in years. Homemade pancake rolls huge size. Highly recommend as you can ask for a plate and cutlery from the hotel staff. Quite a few eating options a short drive from the hotel as well. One thing the plug sockets are in all the wrong places if you want to use your laptop for work. Bring an extension cable lol"

"Me and my sister went to the raddisson for afternoon tea we have been many times before and was always perfect but this time it was different the after tea was poor and that’s being nice the sandwiches were bland tasteless the cheese one was just soggy the scones were horrible and no option of a plain scone the cakes at the top were soft and soggy too and the hazelnut cake was to dense we definitely will not be going back as it was a disappointment and we paid £66 which was definitely not worth it."

"Quick visit while plane was delayed..Quick service.Most impressive was chap called Julian, worked frenetically wiping tables, clearing rubbish, wiping food shelves, sweeping then stepped in to serve.Always cheerful, chat with customers, spotted problems and dealt with them, never slowed down...should get Employee of the month!"

"Had heard a lot about the authenticity of Turkish cuisine. Been meaning to go for age, lived in Turkey for several years. Meze was beautiful and fresh. The main course came before we finished meze what was a pain. lambskin schish was small and rather cooked over; the special chicken of my wife was beautiful. Nice to bring our own wine and not charged cork, but more of a café than a restaurant. Overall disappointed and will not return sadly. There are better Turkish restaurants in the city centre."

"Nov 2023. More dogs and barking this time. Dog hair on the furniture. Unhygienic. I love Dogs but they are for home not for the restaurant. Not eating here again which is a shame. Sort it out Benito Lounge. Jan 2023. Encouraged by my last visit I went back. Nice burger but the entire meal I ate with a strangers dog begging food from me. Disappointing. Why are there not separate areas Back to 3 stars. Jan 2023 Better this time. No dogs, afternoon visit with lots of families, had a very nice burger and cocktails. 4 dogs inside Benitos, one on a chair. Very disappointing. Cannot recommend. Suggest you find somewhere more hygienic."
