"We tried this place based on reviews, and it didn’t disappoint. Not much for ambiance, it’s just a standard diner. I ordered a fried fish dinner (they were out of swordfish), and my wife got the garlic steak. We split a small bottle of wine. It took about 30 minutes to get our food. The fish had an excellent batter, and was 2 large pieces, along with boiled potatoes and salad. My wife’s steak was very garlicky (and delicious), and came with salad and French fries. Total bill was €24.75. My credit card wouldn’t work when I went to pay, and worked at another restaurant, so I’m not sure what the problem was. I payed in cash. Just a note, for other Americans used to the “standard” restaurant process of paying at the table, that doesn’t seem to happen here. You simply get up and receive your bill/pay at the counter, instead of your waiter/waitress bringing the bill to you and clearing your plates."

"I was expecting a lot of this place as it was highly recommended by friends. However it starts on the booking moment. I have called to book a table for dinner for two. All good, however they forgot to explain that they don’t book on the terrace (during covid times I would say that is an important fact). So when we arrived we only had table indoors. We asked if we could have a table outside. We could but we would have to wait in line as if any reservation ever been made. In the meantime we decided to have our indoor table has the restaurant had a lot of doors open with good ventilation. We asked for fish soup (was good) and a tomato soup (very salty). We had also very fish dishes with octopus and tuna. They were good but not outstanding. In top of that between the soup and the main dish we waited at least 45 min with no explanation for the delay. But the even more negative side goes really to the service. All of the staff wasn’t paying attention at all times. A lot of people, totally uncoordinated, distracted, having conversations but not really focused on what the customers need. And on top of that the restaurant was not even full. The terrace was but inside most of the room was empty. Maybe it was a question of bad luck but honestly so far was one of the poorest options in Azores."

"Great dinner in Terceira in the Azores (Portugal). We didn't have a reservation but they squeezed us in which was very nice since they were very busy. Wonderful wine from Portugal (of course). Fishing and hiking today; whale watching tomorrow. WHEN will I have time to shop ???????"

"I was skeptical since I wasn't sure how great an all vegetarian place would be (I am a vegetarian so I have a lot of experience with bad veg food). But I was happily surprised by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was excellent and the setting was really nice. The whole restaurant is essentially a glass box so you feel like you're eating in the garden. Great for lunch."

"Cute cafe! I just stopped to have a coffee and they had some things they sold that were cute. Also there was live music playing which was nice. The staff was very friendly and gave me their business card saying they would ship items internationally."

"Funky little upstairs place with friendly staff and visited by locals. Everything is fresh prepared at a reasonable price . The burgers are amazing like nothing you have never had in America. The wine is also a great deal. Go for it."

"I was one of 18 tourists visiting the restaurant. this popular restaurant has a good atmosphere. after our starter we waited for the main course for a long time. Finally, 15 meals arrived, but 3 of us had to wait for our meal for a longer hour!"
