"Stay in the opposite for 3 nights as an intermediate stop on the way to Spain. quite aware that the against is predominantly French holidaymakers, so occasionally communication can be a problem, but it is not difficult to order from a menu. what is difficult to get the waitress. face and then be ignored! it is not good for the business to alienate customers and be honest, it felt almost like racism because we were not french. the only losers here are the business, because we like to sit and stay much longer, but not when we were ignored. Perhaps the owner must educate the middle blonde coworker that everything is custom good and personal bias to put on a guy. the animals were beautiful"

"This restaurant is right next to the campsite we often use in Ares. I have had several evening meals here but the real measure of this place is its lunchtime menu. Very reasonable at around euros. Good luck if you can get in. The...car park is packed with locals who know a good deal when they smell and taste it!!! Friendly staff who tolerate my terrible French. You just feel embraced and really on holiday. A gem and a short walk back to La Cigale campsite which is always excellent! Hope this helps."

"You have to know this restaurant on the edge of an oyster channel on the edge. unjustified prices of the cap ferret you will find at the loyal of good seafood, good service and a beautiful setting. with a large terrace and a view of the salty near and the north of the basin you feel good, there is space, you breathe. young people at the service are relaxed and pros, it's not gastro but a team of seasoners super nice and efficient. the map is well made, seafood, fish and some desserts. the fish of the day (18€ in general) often excellent and the accompaniments do not only figuration, they are good products well prepared. the fish n chips regale!Prices keep a human dimension,(Bear, entrance, dish, coffee, wine bottle at 4, coffee = 33 € per person.) negative point: oysters but at their discharge it is in summer so it is not the best season and at the risk of unleashing some, oysters of the Arcachon basin it has never been fantastic."

"Ate here on our second night after trying Cabane 44 the first night. Slightly disappointed. Oysters thrown on a plate no ice, one slice of lemon but both prawns and oysters were delicious (to be expected though. Not hard here is it). Our fish...was dry and on a tasteless bed of peas, beans and artichoke and we felt it was expensive for what we got. Profiteroles were delicious but took ages."

"Once again, a small weekend on ares and forced to go to the gourmet duo to have the pleasure to come taste the dishes of the chef. great welcome of the patron saint (smiling, merchant, pleasant). and the chef does not lose his talent as cook (an excellent chef and cook). real fresh jacques cooked to perfection an excellent risotto well creamy, homemade desserts always as excellent. that apart from the fact that they really deserve the young bosses. Bravo keep going. I don't understand the previous opinions with bad reviews you have to know that there are days more exhausting than others. people know how to criticize and say negative points but when it comes to saying positive points people is there. I encourage these young people .... continue like this, we will return again and again to very benevolent."
