"We drove through Arnas on the way to Le Perreon when my wife spotted this hidden gem.Our French experience thus far was good but not great. The language barrier has been tough, so ordering a typically French meal was tough.........Until we found Le Bistrot D'Arnas. The food was fantastic and Mike the owner spoke perfect English, to a point where I asked him what part of England he came from. Sorry Mike We had a set menu, entree, a fantastic garden salad with a Pate, bread, Main, slow cooked pork with the best potatoes I've had, Dessert, a choice of either a berry Mousse or caramel apple pie.Not to mention great coffee and icy cold Paulaner beer on tap.It was that good and that well priced we have been back twice. The owner "Mike" is a great guy. He has made our France trip one to remember.Australian people need to adopt this way of life. Take a break, stop for lunch and enjoy the experience. Work will always be there when you get back."

"The setting is quite pleasant, the team quite nice, however my great salad was frankly not exceptional, lack of seasoning and sometimes things that cracked under the tooth that would not have had to crack like that, for dessert it was correct. The cold coffee was medium because served in haste 2 minutes after serving dessert. For my part I don't necessarily want to come back, even be honest, totally not, let them be the benefit of doubt on hot dishes, to check."
