"This has been a regular hunt for my family since we moved to the area. A modest but good selection of dishes combined with good coffee makes this place worth a visit. During our first visit the staff went by and up to take care of us...... And since then it smiled during their service. I like the friendly view in a quiet side street, just right for a sunny day. Definitely a good Leo secret of the area."

"We were referred to this fully licensed cafe by a local photographer while we waited for our prints to be developed. The boys had the Rueben sandwich and I had the Japanese prawns. Both dishes were around $17.50 each and excellent value. Both dishes also came with a side of chips. Good food, good prices, good service, good atmosphere. If I lived closer it would be a local. Worth a visit if you're in the area."

"If you’re looking for a great casual venue to listen to some live music then this is the place. The Ascot Vale supports live bands a few nights each week. We went there again on Saturday night and had a great time dancing and singing...along to hits from the 80’s and up. They also have a pool table. Staff are friendly and serve with a smile"

"This is a family run fish and chippery, offering all of the usual fare, such as battered or grilled fish, sumptious chips, potato cakes, steak sandwiches, hamburgers, veggie burgers, souvlaki etc. Salads are also offered. They have a couple of tables inside and a couple outside, so you can dine in if you like. Their service is prompt, friendly and efficient. Eftpos facilities are not available, so you will need to pay for your meal with cash. They are open every day except for Tuesdays."

"My local and I won't be back. Beware don't go there 30 mins before closing on a Saturday! Where do I start? Service was rude. I was overcharged. Food not good. They started packing up the metal stools around me (20 mins before closure) making massive noise. Extremely inconsiderate. It is possible to be courteous to your customers and stack a metal stool under 500 decibells. There were others dining in too waiting for their meals (not just me). I felt completely unwelcome in such a lovely homely looking cafe space. I am shocked really. Sad. I am off to go to the Vanilla Pod around the corner for service with love and a smile. For the record...it is now 10 mins before closure on a Saturday. There are still people here putting up with the rude service and average coffee."
