"We've been there three times, and every time we liked it. The interior is no longer very fresh, but has a certain charm. The beer garden is rustic and cozy. Coffee and cake were delicious, as well as the sour roast we had once eaten there. Prices are really moderate, so the value for money is very good. Update 07.04.2019: A new visit has confirmed the positive review: Delicious cakes, very friendly owners, good value for money."

"Am Gleis is located on the other side of the railway tracks of the Bad Driburg railway station. The little restaurant/café is opened 6 days a week, but on Sunday between 11.00 am and 6.00 pm their neighbors Modelbundesbahn have opening hours. Rush hour! We took some drinks and four waffles. It took quite a long time before we were served. The cappuccino was quite poor. A low quality coffee machine didn't brew the coffee you wish. Two friendly women were serving us but in the kitchen a lot of improvisation. Not much equipment. Just one waffle iron. This all sounds quite negative, but the total atmosphere is OK, due to the friendly personnel and the nice location."

"The ice cream café is located in the newly designed pedestrian area of Bad Driburg. A spacious terrace invites you to a break from shopping and stay, especially in beautiful weather. The interior design is relatively simple. An extensive ice map offers many types of ice and ice cups in all possible variations, and the standard range from 5,90 € to 6,90 €. The friendly service was fast at my table, my Cappucino also quickly came with an original supplement: A small ice cream with a mini ball was attached to the edge of the plate, slightly higher than the cup, with a mount (see photo). A great idea. Not only this mini ice cream, also the Cappucino was delicious. Very recommended! My personal favorite ice cream is the Stracciatella ice cream. Sown from the mini ice cream, I took two ice balls (90 cents per ball) to the sip for on the go, very nice creamy and mixed with many chocolate pieces. That wasn't my last visit!"
