"We had a nice summer Sunday in July 2019 we wanted to visit an elderly lady from our family during her rehab at the Elbtal Hospital. Behind the entrance of the main building of the Elbtal Hospital we found this cafeteria on the left. She's still quite empty, maybe we're just a little too early with our arrival before lunch break. Overall, the café makes a very clean and tidy impression on me. Seats for guests are only sufficient, but this will change after 14:00 if the main rush of the weekend visitors arrive. We just come in and take a seat in the seating area. Nobody bothers that there is no patient or patient with us. That's why I assume this is a public cafe. In addition to the usual coffee, tea or cocoa, lime juices, water, cakes, cakes and pastries there is also a small selection of candy as well as newspapers /postcards. The ladies behind the tress are successfully making great effort to fulfill the wishes of their guests. We find the prices really good and also affordable for less well-to-see patients and visitors. For example, the cake pieces of a wide variety of cakes offered (fruit cakes, cream cakes, chocolate cakes, wind bag cakes, Frankfurter Kranz, cream cuts... so between 2.40 Euro and 2.60 Euro. If you want to eat fruit, you can also get a portion of fruit salad for 1.65 euros with fruit cut in mouth-like pieces. The cup of coffee costs 1.50 euros, the Pott coffee is for 2,00 euros. There are also coffee preparations such as Latte Macciato for 2.50 euros. And the best thing was, it tasted us all here. We were three, and we were all three more than satisfied with the taste of the delicacies we sold."
