"A big thanks to Timothy Hagan and his staff at the Peppermill in Dervock. Our Group monthly run today was up to Dervock for Brunch . I had called ahead to reserve seating and gave our numbers to Timothy. We where looked after by very...pleasant staff taking our orders and seeing to our requests . Great food with great service i would highly recommend this gem in Dervock . Timothy is a bike lover and this place is great ,easy parking and good coffee . Look forward to our next visit . "The previous cafe was a favourite of ours and they moved out to a new location. The place has since been renovated and under new ownership. It has an industrial feel to the decor and a very enthusiastic owner and barista. The menu though not extensive looks interesting. We had a scone and a snickers crispy bar both of which were very nice. The coffee and tea are both sourced from specialists in Belfast. We had coffee and again was very good. It’s not cheap and the coffee cups quite small but it wouldn’t put me off going again. I liked it very much."

"Restaurant prices for cafe food. You always feel rushed in this cafe. Young girls watch and take your plate away after you have finished. Feel under pressure to eat fast and get out. Not a comfortable atmosphere."

"We were staying in this country house as part of a tour and ate in the 'country kitchen ' style restaurant. Richard is an excellent host, full of chat and banter. The comfortable lounge was welcoming for a pre dinner drink, and Richard talked us through the menu and the various choices on offer. We went through to the dining room(s) and were surprised at the quaint layout of 'booths ' providing privacy and a cosy feel. The starters were OK, but the mains were magnificent. Their butcher had supplied a magnificent piece of fillet steak which was perfectly cooked, right up there with the best, really really good. But not as good as the pork which was perfect, and was the best main course of our four day gourmet trip gorgeous sweet and savoury sauce. Dessert was unremarkable, and the cheeseboard was a bit of a disappointment. Nothing actually wrong or worthy of a complaint, but just not matching the standard of the rest of the excellent meal. Wine was good quality and well priced but the selection was a bit limited."

"Telephoned in an order for a portion of cod and a small chip to be collected at 8.55 pm; was not ready, had to wait 10 minutes. As the fish was being wrapped I noticed it looked rather greasy and asked the assistant if it was straight out of the pan. I was assured it had been sitting draining. When I reached home which is about half a mile away and unwrapped the fish the paper it was wrapped in was covered in grease and I used three sheets of kitchen roll to try an soak up the grease on the fish. The batter was cooked on the outside but the inside was not cooked at all just a slimy mixture coating the fish. When I returned a portion of the fish to Superbites the attitude of the staff was take it or leave it goodbye. I can assure you I will not be back. If you like greasy fish with half cooked batter, then this is the place for you!!!"
