"Generous portions with a lovely selection of veg and meat for a enjoyable roast. We was offered more veg and roast potatoes, was a nice gesture. your eyes bigger than my belly saying ..springs to mind. Recommend and the staff were friendly and service was v good."

"Woeful vegetarian options. Half a roast cauliflower on its own as a main dish, no sauce, no accompaniments for £16 and I can make a better risotto in the back of a van, peas and carrots may as well have come from a freezer bag. Starters and dessert were great but wouldn't rush back."

"Went in tonight about 645 with my daughter. Most tables taken with people or left over rubbish and cups. Wanted to eat in but couldn't have proper cups, had to have take away cups! Not enough staff to wash up so was told. Ask for a tea for 1, told no regular tea so settled for a hot chocolate! Terrible! Only drank half! Not a good choice for a diabetic! Had two different cakes and the red velvet was dry and tastless. Obviously been cut far too long. Won't go back!"

"First arrived the restaurant was busy but the server says we could sit out side, I wish she would have said we’re full but ended up waiting a long time to get our starter, then waited another 30 minutes before the first mains turned up but then my partner had to wait another 5- 10 minutes to get hers, My dinner did not taste very nice the chicken tasted like it was frozen and heated up with no seasoning. The starters were not very nice and slightly cold . During our long wait we noticed a consistent supply of deliveroo cyclist turning up for online orders, I understand this might of helped a restaurant survive during covid but those times are gone and now the wait times have shot up because of this. Waste of money the quality has suffered compared to how it used to be run, what a shame the place used to be amazing"

"Sadly booked with friends for my husbandS 57th birthday treat Seriously the worst resturant we have ever visited firstly having booked disabled access table for wheel chair via open table and confirmed via telephone but no a table up three stairs was designated then waited 1/2 hour for drinks and order at least 20 mins and poor starters arrived order incluceded two roast dinners but after starter were then told roasts were sold out had to then ask for menu ok fish and chips So as we waited and and waited at least one hour! We saw lots of roast dinners appear and not found recipients ! So weird eventually our delicious fish and chips appeared 3 45 pm our table was book at 1 30! No way could we wait for pudding! Totally exhausted !"
