"We've eaten here twice recently while staying on Harkers Island. Both times we showed up 30 minutes to closing, and both times they accommodated us. We never felt unwelcomed or rushed. The service was great; the food was great. Don't expect fancy is down home county cookin' and it's good!"

"A quiet Sunday to get a chicken quesadilla and a fresh cup of coffee. While I sat, a line formed with Door Dash. The food is fresh and provided in a bag. Flowers in Vasen not available for social distancing. Yellow was the color my eye caught from the cheese. to the flowers to the artwork until sunny day. A bit of instrumental music would have been the totally happy place! RING IN your new year with Taco Bell on 170 Beaufort!"

"I live at Pine Knoll Shores so I get over to Beaufort every other week or so. Had not eaten at this place is some months, so tried it today. It is off season, lots of restaurants closed so parking not a problem. Only a few customers, but all looked happy. I am not a seafood guy so I had the most unusual Cuban sammich (and maybe the best) and I have been to Ybor city near Tampa, where lots of Cubans live and eat. The bread was a waffle of all things, with ham, pork, cheese, pickles etc., it was just great with a healthy salad as well. A few boats went by , beautiful day, good service. Do go. Bob Ross"

"We love visiting Clawson's multiple times a month. The atmosphere is inviting, and every menu item we've tried is delicious! The $5 appetizers on Friday nights (off-season) are awesome with the Buffalo Shrimp being at the top of our list of favorites. Even during the summer months the appetizers are generously portioned and are good value at regular price. Our two menu favorites are 1) the Shrimp and Grits and 2) the Crab Cakes, which come with a tasty remoulade sauce, veggies, and an incredible grit cake. We also thoroughly enjoy the cooked to order burgers, and when they have a special with a local fresh catch it's hard to pass up! The craft beer and wine selections are plentiful and really round out a great dining experience!"

"Came upon Turner Street Market and Cafe while walking down the street. Walked in and looked like a small coffee shop. The friendly staff said they did serve breakfast and lunch and pointed to a chalk board on the wall. Much to my surprise, the menu was large with selections of great variety. My husband got a sandwich, which was delicious ham and cheese) with complex flavors due to the sauce and cheese on it. I got the Turkish eggs that also had complex flavors and was amazing. The coffee was also delicious. We recommend this little gem highly. Staff are GREAT"

"I took my Mom who is in a wheelchair out to lunch . The restaurant is not conducive to that. It is designed mostly for carry out and the only seating is at high tables and a high bar in the front window. It was very warm so I took the liberty to turn on the fan that was near me. I would have loved to have eaten outside as the weather was beautiful, but the tall café tables were out of the question. The medium-size oxtail plate was delicious. It was more than I could eat and I know I will enjoy the leftovers. The sweet plantains went well with the perfectly seasoned meat, gravy, and rice. If I had one suggestion it would be to put a picnic table on their patio. I will definitely be ordering carry out! I was disappointed that the lady at the cash register did not offer to help me as I struggled to open the door and get the wheelchair outside. There was no one inside but Mom and I."
