"4 stars go to the concept not the taste of the food. We came from Melb and was excited to find this place and the menu looked very promising! While the concept is there the actual delivering of the taste were very disappointing…. Especially the tea colour cold brew, tasted nothing like coffee (they did warn us it’s a lighter drink than usual, but in a green tea colour was a bit too far from the actual thing)"

"Lovely coffee place near the tram stop. Good coffee. Not the biggest selection of food options on the menu but was tasty and hit the spot for lunch during a day of sightseeing. Also agree the Canadian waiter is a credit to the place, very friendly and welcoming"

"The food was tasty, however the price is higher than in the neighborhood. The coffee is complete horror, taste like water. Americano of my friend had even light brown color and tasted like water mixed with the coffee made out of second time used coffee powder. My latte was the same super weak, but at least cream was adding some taste to the water. We had to go to other place afterwards to get some decent morning coffee. Btw, I hardly ever write bad reviews. But that was so bad coffee that I can't stop myself."

"Simpli was one of my top 3 specialty coffee shops in Lisbon and we tried 10 different cafes during our trip. We actually went to this Simpli location 3 days during our 7 day trip Their beans are lighter roast, espresso is pulled well, and the milk is nicely frothed. Also they serve the correct milk:espresso ratio. Their pastries are also great (I recommend the caracol de pistachios e laranja). They have indoor and outdoor seating the outdoor area is right next to a little plaza, so it's a perfect stop if you have a pup and want to sit on the terrace."
