"My favorite legit smoothie spot. Love their avo toast rendition, too!! If you aren’t in a smoothie/juice mode you could snag a canned latte. They sell a scrumptious canned S’mores latte from Bones Coffee Company called “Smorey Time”. Yummmm"

"There 's a fine line between chaos and quality service, I love bagels in Oceanside is a busy place, and the owner is super nice, unfortunately nobody wants to work anymore, all those government freebies) has put business owners in a real jam, fortunately this place is busy and pulling thru the Covid wave, I sat and watched very hard working individuals that deserve more than 5 stars, my hats off to the real true heroes, the working force !! Good Job Oceanside I Love my Bagels"

"We were staying in a hotel next door so this was a nice place to have dinner and some drinks as no one needed to drive after. Very good margaritas, specialty beers and tacos, with very affordable prices as well. Inside could get little loud but there were nice tables outside with heaters if you wanted some peace and privacy too. Ended up eating there were twice, both times service was fast and friendly, food very good and drinks tasty. A great, casual place with positive atmosphere."

"This super cute coffee shop shares a lot with the Switchboard restaurant, so the menu photo may have elements from Switchboard but this review is for North County Roastery! I came on a Sunday with a friend and we ordered several coffees and a tea. I got the lavender vanilla latte and the maple latte, and she got a chai tea latte. We both really enjoyed our drinks, though the maple latte was a stand out! They were well crafted, not too sweet and not bland. The drinks had a great flavor and beautiful latte art. I really enjoyed the presentation, the taste, and the experience! I did dine at Switchboard for the food but the two go hand in hand and both were a lovely experience. I highly recommend visiting!"

"Twas the night before Mother’s Day and a great night to celebrate double birthdays in the fam. Some wanted Mexican, some me craved French. This restaurant offers a French Mexican fusion in Downtown Oceanside so everyone’s a winner. But first Cocktails! Margarita ooh La La $14 topped with lilikoi guava foam yum! Tales of Culiacan $14 : roasted pineapple mezcal, rum, strawberry campari Lemon Drop Martini $14 just coz it’s my appetizer Ordered several small plates: Pomme Frites $7 with BOMB garlic bourbon aioli Elote Corn Fritters $14 : Oaxaca cheese, roasted corn, chili lime aioli wasn’t my favorite Ceviche $14 : shrimps, prickly pear, chayote, avocado taro chips Duck Tacos $16 : didn’t like this meh nothing great nothing great and overpriced Birria Short Rib $31 : braised, herb pasta, corn, chayote Black Cod $29 : group favorite with braised leeks, roasted beets, herb chimichurri Mexican Hot Pot $27 : braised chicken, adobada broth Filipino adobo with a mex flair? It was just an OK dinner. We expected more from the reviews I guess? The location 3 blocks to the water in the center of revitalized Downtown Oceanside is fantastic. It was a lot more Mexican than French. We recommend the ceviche, black cod and mayyyybe the Birria short rib if the pasta wasn’t so dry. Will we return? Not sure actually.
