"Called in for breakfast with our friends around 9am and we were met with a most angry staff member. She complained about being on her own and told us in an agressive tone that she would not cook the Eggs Benedict or the big breakfast as she was on her own and almost never came in today. So we all ordered the egg bacon burger. Our friends had it with BBQ sauce we chose no bbq source. We sat out side and waited for the food. On arrival it looked pretty limp with no real food appeal or effort having been put into it. As it was basically dumped on the table, my wife asked if she could have some Hollandaise sauce. As this waitress walked away from the table her comment was he (referring to me) said no sauce was wanted No, I only said that I never wanted BBQ sauce. Well we ate the food then got up to leave and a friend of ours was so embarrassed she started clearing up our table when this staff member had other tables in need of cleaning but her phone was obviously the bigger priority. If WA are trying to promote holidays at home then the service leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the shops in the town were shut, one cafe had run out of food and never opened in the two days we were there. This is terrible service and behaviour by a person/s representing the shire at a major tourist site for the town. Nice town but we would never return. Parking: Plenty of car and RV Parking. Nice play ground for young children."
