"Bought two bags of chips and they were weird. The larger ones were almost raw and crunchy inside, and the smaller ones were sharp scraps of potato. The outside was strange too. They seemed dehydrated and tough. Yes they filled a hole, but at £6 for 2 bags with one ketchup sachet, we'd hoped for better. Maybe it was a bad day as the other reviews looked ok before we went. "I'll put a place right on the cleanliness of menus, cutlery and glassware and it was immaculate. I had the filetsteak in a pfeffer sauce. one of the best steaks I've ever had. we also really have the veneto merlot really smooth and no hang over today! great staff, beautiful ladies behind the bar she has exactly the right approach with people and made us feel as if nothing was too much annoying, excellent meal and great fun. the chefs deserve a special mention, because without them .well let us say they are excellent. will be back!"

"Great little cafe on the beachfront, selling crab sandwiches (and others), luxury ice cream and beverages. Wooden benches and toilets near by. Stopped here towards the end of a walk for hot drinks really friendly staff (thanks, Isaac)! Sat on the stone wall watching the sun starting to set over the sea, the last of the anglers and the most amazing rainbows!"
