"We went to Ambertree as our second choice (1st was Little Louie's burger joint which was closed). However, we were delighted with Ambertree because it was soooo good. Fresh ingredients prepared before our eyes & friendly staff made our 2nd choice the best choice."

"This is a very popular diner, so perhaps it was just an off day but parking was a bit difficult (my aunt and I both use walkers but there were insufficient disabled spots). Also, the food was only average at best (the tarts were nothing...I'd order again). Service was friendly, though. I don't plan to go back."

"Front staff were super friendly & helpful. We were lucky enough to get a recently renovated room, it was beautiful! Lovely modern furnishings, glass encased rain-shower, carpet so clean I wasn't afraid to go barefoot on!The bed was incredibly comfortable, had a terrific night's sleep. Extra pillows/blankets in wardrobe if needed. Good air conditioning.Cannot review the restaurant as it was closed for maintenance while we were there.Only one negative: I know the stairwells & hallways are high traffic areas, but they should have been vacuumed which would make their appearance so much better.Definitely planning on staying here again."

"No pretensions here — just a commitment to offer good, reasonably priced diner food to customers. The diner tradition is a big thing in the U.S., far less so in Canada. but Angel's meets the requirement with inexpensive, attractively presented meals. On my list visit I tried the liver and bacon, for me one of the litmus tests for a diner, and it definitely made the grade. As for the dessert menu — well I warmly recommend the brandy cheesecake"

"Quiet place but it was near closimg on a Tuesday night. Clean place and the food is fresh. Spices are not too hot but I'm sure if your a regular they'd spice it up for you. Good place for a date plenty of wine. Indonesian yellow curry noodles delicious"

"First time visit to the Symposium cafe. Nice ambiance. Open, cross between ancient Rome and a market pub. I liked it. Food was very good. Cappicino's were great, very foamy. I ordered the eggs provincial, very tasty. My wife had the ham and cheese omelet. She enjoyed it very much. Overall a good experience. The staff was very nice and attentive."
