"I wish I knew earlier about this place, so I decided to add it to Happycow and make sure that other vegans know that they can enjoy a real afternoon tea! You need to order afternoon tea per day in advance and at this point give you all nutritional requirements (i.e. tell them you are vegan . You also do gluten-free etc. The afternoon tea includes sandwiches, a slice of cake, a skane with jam and cream and a truffle. The vegan cream is not picked, but the fact that they have it at all is amazing: you always have a vegan cake available so if you have for coffee and cake, you will actually be able to have cakes! The cakes are made by locals with whom the teahouse works. The tea menu is huge and organized by black, red, green and white teas. In each section there are many different teas so that you can not search through them all (if you do not plan to stay a long time.. The tea house is located in the beautiful area of Penylan through the gardens. Only realized Happycow won't let me give this place 5 stars!! But it deserves 5 stars. It is much better than some vegetarian places..."

"Great houmous platter with all the salad bits piled high. We loaded up on hot sauce and mint yoghurt and it was very tasty. The za'atar crisp breads were strange and interesting and very good with houmous. Great value for money for lunch or dinner as a picnic takeout or eat in. In terms of customer service, the lady serving us didn't smile once but maybe she wasn't enjoying working on such a lovely warm day. Recommended."

"Popped in for a brunch and was excited to find they had fresh made cawl on as a special. The service and food were both excellent, and the problems since early reviews seem to have been solved. I would definitely visit again. Note for cyclists: There are a few places outside where you can lock your bike and keep an eye on it through the windows. But it is a large enough space that could bring you bike in most times of the day."

"The cafe has an authentic Danish feeling with the presence of Danish flags and the menu with Danish. Each article is marked in Danish and English. The staff is friendly. They have 2 vegan sweet pastries: apple and cinnamon vertebrae and a cinnamon vertebrae. They offer soy milk and have vegan foccacia on the menu. I like their label of zero waste as they offer their excess on the Too Good to Go app. There are seats for about 30 people in the interior. It would be nice if they offered more vegan options. This gave them a 3 star for space to improve."

"Had a really lovely meal here yesterday evening with my husband and our friend. As usual the service was spot on, the food was lovely and the price was very reasonable. I understand there is a new manager, he is obviously doing a good job. Twice we have been here prior to going to a Show and needed to get served quickly, both times the service was excellent. We will definitely be eating here again, no hesitation."
