"Whilst staying in Charters Towers I found this little gem. They use Merlo coffee and will make it the way you like it. I like a strong coffee and that's what I got. I had a lovely toasted sandwich here for under $5 ( 2 fillings). The girls are friendly and remembered me after one visit. They have a nice choice of food which include sandwiches, croissants and wraps all at great prices. A wide range of cakes are also available. The shop is air conditioned with comfortable lounge chairs as well as the more traditional chairs and tables.It's next door to a news agency so it's very easy to grab a paper and relax with a coffee."

"I had the pleasure of using The Feedlot catering for 2 events this week We had a business meeting of 9, and a birthday party at home for 50. With both I received awesome feedback about the food, and having Christian and the staff come along and set up with warmers keeping the food warm until well after midnight was a huge stress relief. Would absolutely recommend for your next function of any size."

"My husband and son called into Maccas in Charters Towers en route to Townsville and was absolutely disgusted with their food. The meat in the burgers was cold and the chips had obviously been sitting and then reheated. They threw the food in the bin....They said the young lady cleaned their table and chairs very well."

"Great place for a fun day. Came here to try out the obstacle course and the banana boat, it was well worth the visit. It was great to see that people from all different age groups were together in the water having the best time. Everyone has to wear a swim vest too which is good. Entry fee of $33 per person is really reasonable considering it gives you access to everything for the whole day. You can also fish and there's some drinks and snacks being sold. There's plenty of shade area with tables and chairs so you can escape the sun for a while and have some snacks, perfect for parents to relax and to watch their kids having fun in the water nearby. Only thing I could complain about is that some of the young staff liked to race past the rest areas around the obstacle course way too fast in their little vehicles. Swirling up all the dirt and not looking out for all the little children well enough. Overall we had a really pleasant experience and are keen to come back!"
