"Highly unprofessional place. We had made reservations for brunch with friends and upon reaching there it was closed. I understand that things may have come up but you need to have some courtesy to let the people know. If tables are turned, customers will be charged for cancelling their booking last minute. It was not only embarrassing for us but highly inconvenient."

"Sandringham (end of the train line) is changing rapidly. What was once a rather sleepy end-of-line family beach suburb is becoming a younger person commuter suburb with apartments going up everywhere and parking now difficult. The upside is that, at last, eating outlets are becoming varied and more than just the "same old". (A great new Japanese now in Sandy).Bluff Town is one of the new set. On the corner, opposite the railway line this slightly awkward shaped venue is, I think, now the best place for Brekky in Sandy. An interesting "all day" menu with staple regulars and some really good alternatives - ham hash browns with mushroom duxelle and herb oil; confit ham hock with egg, avocado and hollandaise on sourdough etc etc etc. Coffee is very good. Staff are young (everyone is young now but that's because I'm not!) and enthusiastic. Friendly, attentive and well trained.Very reasonably priced and, because of location, surprisingly relaxed and relaxing.Life in Sandy is looking up!!"

"I waited 20 minutes for a cheddar cheese toastie with salat and it cost me $18. they don't make a mistake, it was the most impressive I ever had. it was very artistic. my coffee was also exceptional. the ambiente is pleasant, but. the stairs at the door make accessible a challenge, unless they want to sit on the road. by the way, the previous customer also mentioned the long waiting period. in any case we were the only diners."

"The decor was really secret and interesting and the caffe seems to be popular with locals. my timing was not so good, as some nuts with very loud children were there and the loud music was not enough to drown them. I chose a...vego pannino and a coffee. both were in order, but not amazing."

"This is a very underrated cafe/restaurant. They moved from Beecroft to the Cheltenham Bowling and Recreation Club which was a big risk but seems to have paid off. It is really nice to sit outside on the covered verandah and look across the bowling green...to the trees beyond. Their sandwiches, wraps and high tea are excellent. Plenty of parking also. They seem to have changed their brand of coffee, which is not quite as good as it was."

"After having my birthday dinner by the restaurant I decided to stop here for dessert before leaving. I ordered a slice of passionfruit cheesecake and I wasn't so much worried about the price but the cheesecake was raw in the middle and gave me instant stomach aches, I could not finish it. Please if you're going to charge high prices make the food worth it!"
