"So sad that in 2022 we still have to deal with ignorance. My husband and I literally waited until this restaurant opened. We walked in and were about to get seated by the waitress however forgot something outside. We walked back in minutes later and were about to get seated again, BUT... assuming the owner or manager (a blonde woman) turned us away. She then proceeded saying that reservations were needed and that there was a waiting list. Keep in mind, the restaurant just opened and there were 3 parties seated already and about 15 available tables. Not only did she say that, she came up with another story how they were moving restaurants and such. A few different excuses to NOT let us eat since we weren't Caucasian. We're both senior executives for multi-million dollar companies and were looking for some good healthy farm to table food. Just showed a cowardly move excuses on her part. If you want to be racist, just be direct rather than come up with multiple excuses. This is just a stork reminder of southern charm."

"Grains of Grace is a must for made to order breakfast or lunch. Everything is made fresh. Incredible coffee. Best coffee in town actually. As a New Yorker, I’m blown away by the bagels here. They’re from the Bronx and don’t disappoint."

"I went here for lunch on a Saturday with a big group; we had prepared for our visit so that they will be prepared. My bacon Cheeseburger was very good. I ordered chips and Ranch Dressing as the side, but they never brought the ranch. A table mat had the special beef stew and said it was delicious. Her Koleslaw is sweet and very good. We tried their cinnamon rolls and they were also good; wished them "warm them before serving. Fresh, homemade with a lot of cinnamon. The waiting staff was excellent. They were patient and pleasant to manage despite a large group. However, they have a small grill and are really not ideal for serving a large group of 15. Our food smelled almost two hours. We still enjoyed our time there because we weren't in a hurry, but if you're looking for a place that can get a big group in and out quickly, this is not. The seats in the indoor and outdoor areas are pet-friendly. The women's toilet was out of order, so everyone had to use the men's rooms."

"I can’t really speak to the pastry side of this establishment because we stopped by at 3:30 on our way back from another place and the desserts/donuts were all but gone. Fine. Understood.As a coffee shop, this place is a tick above convenience store beverage and that’s being generous. We ordered an americano and a latte before realizing that all coffee beverages were made by pressing a button on a dispenser machine instead of an actual espresso maker with a milk steamer, etc. Never again.The people leaving 5-stars obviously have no clue what real coffee is supposed to taste like. Maybe their brewed coffee is okay, but by all means stay away from anything purporting to be an espresso beverage."

"My husband and I had a private wedding ceremony in RI where we live. After we had super covid friendly reception at Bleu Canoe with our friends and family in GA. It was amazing! Delicious food. Amazing staff and service. Cozy tiny houses. Comfy beds. Clean, clean. Jim and Lee went above and beyond. It is an absolutely perfect way for anyone to spend some time in the mountains with a group of friends, solo or a little romantic getaway. We will be having more visits here!!"
