"We have always liked the Ramada. But had a poor lunch on Sunday. You may think this is picky but there were a lot of little details they got wrong. My wife had a Steak sandwich which wasn’t great, disappointing as The Ramada of old never put out sub standard food. I had a Bangers, Mash and Summer Veg. I think this lunch needs a reasonable quality pork sausage, mash and a good gravy (preferably an onion gravy). The sausages were beef even though the menu didn’t state that, the mash was actually champ (again the menu stated Mash) and the gravy came in a very small gravy boat far too little. I then asked for a little more gravy as I was running out and was given the same small amount again. That was fine, but when I got my bill it had an extra £1.95 for an insubstantial amount of gravy. I’m afraid the food was below par but to add churlishness to the experience I found to be very petty. This just isn’t the same place it used to be."

"I have been at the riverbank cafe a number of times and have always found it to be excellent. The stand are friendly and efficient. The best thing about it for me being a coffee lover is that not only do they have great coffee...and top quality coffee machine they have staff who are trained to use it so make an excellent coffee whatever choice. So many places the coffee is ruined by staff that overheat the coffee or the milk! There is a good choice of food and cakes in a very pleasant and comfortable surroundings. If you haven't been then your missing out and I can guarantee it will not be a one of visit."

"Staff are always friendly and bantering about. Food is always of the highest quality. The sits at the side are a bit odd but it's probably because my arse is too big and doesn't fit. But otherwise, favourite place for snacks, salads, sandwiches and peace in Coleraine."

"This caffe is well managed by the friendly owners who take their business seriously, it serves really good coffee hot aromatic, as it is with very tasty roasted sandwiches and others there is a good choice of baked, even if they can really say everything in order they can really say yes I enjoyed that very well so that I go directly to him next time and skip the others!."

"It was my idea to try this place I had often happened, so I was a bit embarrassed by the bad experience we had. the lady servers were very pleasant, but otherwise this place did not have much for it. a gentleman who appeared as a manager could have saved us a welcome word when he woke around, but not so. the restaurant needs a great upgrade of furniture and decor. one of our party said it had not changed since their last visit a few years ago. I chose a toastia. it was a little underwhelming, was made in a machine without personal contact to cook. my year old enkelin produces exciting farewell. this place has potential, but he has not yet realized it."
