"By far the worst cafe me and my partner have been too. Very cheap ingredients. Sausages were like bread Tomato sauce was like watery red vinegar Coffee was like hot water The place was filthy And I was over charged Only nice thing was the bread! Avoid at all costs"

"Popped in there for breakfast fairly recently and wasn’t the best breakfast I have had Bubble was very poor and the coffee tasted like instead coffee and pretty strong. I’m no rush to go back or recommend the cafe"

"We have used this takeaway for over a year and have always had great service and have loved the food. Tonight however has been a disaster, had a very long wait for our takeaway, approx double the time we were told, on getting the food home the starters were of poor quality, the chicken and ribs both over cooked and no longer of the expected soft consistency which we always love. Our main course was of dubious quality, the roasted duck poor and my wife’s king prawn dish was not in our order but we did have sewer and sour chicken which she does not like. Very sad that we now need to look for a new takeaway as we will not go back, especially as the service was so poor. Please beware!"

"Have been using Denis’s for years in village, Ruxley and Bexley Park. I will not use them any more. Of late prices have got ridiculous and some staff very arrogant. The little young chap in butchers with beard in particular. Use Clarkes in the Joydens wood shops for better quality, value and service."

"Having been to this nice pub many time over the years, I took some friends for Sunday Lunch. I've enjoyed all visits before and the food and service has been good! We ordered drinks, a starter of bread and our mains. We noticed how unbearably hot it was. Neighbouring tables were also commenting. I asked our waiter if the air con could be turned on. He also agreed it was hot and said he'd look into it. After 15 mins or so it was still very warm and I asked if we could move tables. Our waiter said there were no free tables but he managed to crack a window for us, much to the delight of our table and those around us. About 30 mins into sitting and after our starter... our waiter asked as if we'd like dessert. I mentioned that our mains had not arrived. He apologised and said he'd chase up. The apologising and chasing up happened for another 40 mins... with our mains arriving over an hour after we ordered. We were offered free drinks as an apology but refused as none of us wanted needed any more alcohol. The food was great and well received after waiting so long! When the bill arrived we mentioned we would not be paying the service charge due the exceptional wait time. This was when our friendly waiter stopped being friendly. Grumpily went off and got an updated receipt. Was curt and deliberately not friendly anymore. Although the wait was not his fault... we should not be expected to pay for poor service waiting 70 mins for food is not acceptable in any restaurant. Asking for our dessert orders without realising we were still awaiting mains was poor. I rarely quibble when paying service charge but was taken aback that his attitude turned. I would hesitate in returning as we really felt part of a cog... pleasant enough but not really caring about our experience and certainly not caring about how long we had to wait."
