"This is a must visit when in Istanbul. So close to both mosques and they have great coffee and tea with options for some small bites to eat. Even better, there are lots of artists that have studios on site and you can purchase the art right there. We even met one or the artists. This is a perfect setting inside a courtyard and wonderful service for the cafe and the art boutique."

"The prices are unbeatable. 150 TL for chicken Kebap and about as much for the beef. 20 TL for the tea and 50 TL for coffee. Nice portion size, as for the taste it is simple, but definitely good. Service was fast, polite. Bread, even if not ordered, will be included in the bill and costs 50TL. Space can get a bit crowded due to walking tour tourists passing by. I recommend if you are in the area and need a quick food option."

"As a self proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I recently had the pleasure of visiting a cafe that truly impressed me. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The decor was a blend of modern and rustic, with natural wood accents and comfortable seating areas that invited me to sit down and enjoy my coffee. The cafe had an extensive menu of coffee drinks, and the owner/operator is most knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the preparation of each drink, from the perfectly pulled espresso shots to the carefully steamed milk. I ordered a cortado and was blown away by the rich, velvety texture and perfect balance of espresso and milk. What really set this cafe apart, however, was the quality of the coffee itself. The beans were clearly carefully sourced and expertly roasted, resulting in a flavor profile that was complex and nuanced, with notes of chocolate, caramel, and a hint of fruitiness. I was thrilled to learn that the cafe offers a variety of house roasted beans for sale. Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to any coffee lover looking for a truly exceptional coffee experience. From the quality of the coffee to the location and ambiance, every aspect of this cafe was top-notch. Out of the probably 100+ cafes to choose from in Balat area this has quickly become my go to spot."

"I had very very high hopes for this place! The ambiance and vibe of the restaurant were great! The view was good and so were the drinks. But i was let down by the food, we were 5 people and we paid more than 13K tl which is almost a $100 each and i was hungry when i left. The bread was stale, nothing stood out in terms of flavor except for the octopus and maybe the filet. It wasn’t on par with my expectations and the portions are tiny and the sauces/ seasoning is lacking a bit."

"A signature coffee shop by coffee guru Şerif Başaran! What I noticed most was the price for the good coffee. It was pretty reasonable, I would even say cheap for this kind of quality. Highly educated Baristas, well-decorated interior design accompanied with great coffee books makes your coffee break unique. You can find almost all sorts of brewing methods in here per your taste. I tried one of my favorite coffee drink-Flat White. Fabulous! Overall score 4.6/5 for a Coffee Shop"
